I think from the outset of meeting me you will realize I am significantly different from most real estate agents. I will not immediately jump in with, "So how many rooms do you want, how large of a house, what's your price range.?" that most others do. This is because their focus is on sales where mine is something I like to call Emotional Cooperation.
As a member of the Santa Cruz community, it has been my goal to be as involved as I can in various organizations. The groups below are organizations I am an active contributor to, and deserve the support of anyone in the community. When you are choosing where to donate the 30% of the commission to, please consider one of these excellent options.
I purposely limit the homes that I manage to twenty and no more, as anything more than that and I would be unable to devote enough attention to each indivual clients home. I have over 10 years experience in property managent and have built a reliable and consistent method of choosing tenants and a portfolio of affordable and quality trades people to attend to any maintenance that may arise.

Scott Joly is without a doubt the most trustworthy Property Manager I have every dealt with in Santa Cruz. He does things by the book and I never felt once like he was going to cheat me (this is a true rarity in Property Managers in Santa Cruz). I only moved from one of his properties because I bought a house. However, if I had to rent in Santa Cruz I would check in with Scott first to see if there was a good fit.

We heard about Scott through Veteran's United, and couldn't be happier. He has been responsive, helpful, and highly professional. Scott made finding a house in a crowded market easy, despite the additional difficulties created by the Covid-19 pandemic. When the seller's title company dropped the ball, he was on it. When we had questions, he was on it. Scott handled coordination with the mortgage company, the title company, the seller's agent, and who knows who else with poise and professionalism.

We just recently started working with Scott. We were attracted to his mission statement and his commitment to community. It took no time for him to list our rental and find numerous people who wanted to rent the place. He did all the back round checks, credit reports, and checked all references before narrowing down the list. All this occurred on the off season for rentals. Scott has been our property manager for our Santa Cruz townhouse going on three years now. I can't recommend him enough! He is incredibly knowledgeable and highly competent in all aspects of property management. Scott is also very responsive to any questions we have, or issues that come up (for example, coordinating some deck repairs with our tenants). And all of this for a very reasonable monthly fee.
