Sun On The Beach
Welcome to Sun on the Beach, one of two, ocean view dining spots between Vero Beach and Cocoa Beach. We are family owned and operated with a wealth of food experience. Each meal is prepared to order, using the freshest ingredients. As a family, we have operated a fine dining restaurant in the Florida Keys, as well as a home-style restaurant in Georgia.

Seth and Kent apply their knowledge of fine dining to plan and prepare all of our dishes, many of which have their origins in Northern Georgia, Charleston, and the South Carolina Low Country. We combine quality, fresh ingredients and our family's passion for great food to provide our customers with a very satisfying dining experience.

The Food was cold as ice but 5 Star 5 Star 5 Star for the Living Breathing Barbie Doll with the Pink Boston Red Socks hat on. She makes breakfast so thrilling and so much more exciting that breakfast could ever be.

I never write reviews but as soon as we walked in the place smelled of stale musty rotten eggs, went to sit outside, we got an odd reaction from the server. Once we got the food the crabs Benedict had no flavor of crab just seasoning. The country Benedict ham seemed like it was 4 days old tough hard chewing like jerky. Sorry for the review but people got to know. Avoid this place

Almost an hour to get food. Had a hard time cutting my granddaughters pancake with a knife. Was ask if we needed drink refills but never got them. Was not impressed with my Cuban sandwich. Chips were very good.

Not impressed. Was promptly sat by a very nice hostess, but ended there. We sat for 10 minutes with no acknowledgement, waters. People sat down behind us a few minutes after and received prompt service and drink order. There was another table that someone joined a few minutes after us and she still received a drink as we were still waiting to be acknowledged. We ended up walking out and down the road to morning glory that ACTUALLY has a view of the ocean.

Great breakfast spot with interesting, unique and delicious options for breakfast and lunch. Go early because this restaurant across from the beach is popular and gets busy quickly. Expect to wait for a table. Crepes are fantastic here with savory options such as the shrimp pesto crepes. Outdoor eating options offer good ventilation during Coronavirus. Will return again.

Would be five stars but service was slow this time initially and last time we came I didn't like the country fried steak. This time the two pictured Benedicts were excellent! I think that those are their specialty items. Will definitely go back to try more things.

Its been 5 years since Ive been here and the consistency in the quality of the food is unmatched. This is the best breakfast on the beach hands down. I got the Gullah Benedict and the peaches and cream pancakes with pecans. They could work on the cleanliness and punctuality of service (seems to have always been an issue since they've been in business) The table was sticky and there were bugs crawling. It took quite a while to get to-go boxes and check/refills and it wasn't overly busy. The waitress was really sweet and pleasant though, no problems with the vibe. I just hope they can tighten

Was referred by a friend and wasn't disappointed. Their menu is outstanding and everything looked like more than I wanted to eat this morning. No problem the waitress listed each item individually and I walked out full and feeling satisfied. Highly recommend if you want a local hometown experience!!!

Had been to the ok'd location, but since the move, place has declined. Visited in August. Ordered two eggs over hard with dry 5-grain toast. The waitress brought two Very over easy eggs and buttered toast. I mentioned the eggs and she told me that they were "done well" even though the yoke was running on the plate. I said that doesn't make sense and to please provide a corrected order. After quite a wait, she returned with (obviously) the same eggs but with them overly flattened and cooked thru. Apparently the "cook" just threw the same eggs back in the pan because

We are visiting and stumbled upon this little gem. The food was wonderful, and the service was great. Our server, Molly, was so friendly, offered suggestions, made a wonderful cocktail, and laughed right along with us. I would definitely go back!

A real dump. Looks like it was previously a Mexican restaurant. But they did no remodeling. Very dirty looking. I think this is where I contacted COVID. I miss the old place on the beach. From speaking to others apparently the owner could not afford the rent and had to move here. Breakfast and service was good though. Same quality food.

I just love their breakfast. I get the egg white omelette with spinach and feta cheese absolutely delicious. It is enough for two meals. The negatives about the place is it's always so warm inside, the lighting is just horrible I see that they only turn on one lightbulb out of the light fixtures. The booth seating is ripping not very comfortable or attractive.
I was just there 07/17/2021 Sunday,
I informed the hostess The table and seats at the booth were soaking wet and instead of her just drying them she seats me somewhere else and then immediately takes another couple to the same booth

Sun on the Beach-Satellite Beach, FL- 5 Stars (again)

"It is the working man who is the happy man. It is the idle man who is the miserable man." - B. Franklin
Taking Ben's centuries old advice, I found myself heading, "once more unto the breach my friends" in search of another review to write. As luck would have it, I found myself in front of an old acquaintance in a new location. I am, of course, talking about Sun on the Beach's new location (about 100 feet from the old) in Satellite Beach, FL.
The new locale is cheerfully decorated, spacious and inviting, not

This is one of our favorite breakfast stops when we are in Florida. The food is great and the service is wonderful. Right now they have a limited menu due to COVID staffing issues, but we still received wonderful service and great food.

The dog friendly patio is great. They have a pretty large drink selection, which is also nice. I got the Breakfast Taquitos. They are absolutely amazing and the portion size was pretty large. I highly recommend. The menu is very large and they have something for everyone. Great atmosphere and very friendly service.

Don’t go if you’re looking for a quick bite for breakfast. We arrived at 10:45am and it took until 11:50 to get our food. The staff seemed overwhelmed despite the place being mostly empty. Only 6 tables of customers, including ourselves. The polite and very apologetic waitress explained that they were “extremely busy due to spring break.” Not sure what that means because there were no spring breakers in the place. 3 waitresses / 6 tables = 1 waitress for 2 tables. ???? Anyway, the food was decent but it’s scrambled eggs and bacon. Tough to mess that up. We tried the Tito Bloody Mary and

Great hole in the wall type place on the main beach drag A1A at satellite beach. Old concrete building funky beach atmosphere. Staff friendly and helpful. Looks like locals hangout. Stopped with no knowledge of the place.
Both had Great breakfasts - omelet stuffed with seafood and the tasty Alaskan omelet with smoked salmon & creamy dill sauce, chock full of veggies. House pan fries good. Home-made biscuits Yum.
Open for breakfast & lunch. Outdoor patio seating.

We had a delicious breakfast at Sun on the beach this morning. The food was very good and the service was great as well. Not sure why the rating is a bit low on yelp. A wide and creative breakfast menu of omlettes, pancakes, crepes etc. Not much choice of beverages though, just regular tea/coffee/cocoa.

The garden blast was a great choice of no-meat, all veggie omlette. Delicious omlette stuffed with a variety of healthy vegetables, came with a side of toast and choice of fries. The georgia waffle was very impressive. Really tasty soft waffle loaded with peaches and cream and pecans. I absolutely

Service was friendly, informative, & attentive. Food was awesome! Tried the Tupelo Honey Benedict and the Surf N Turf burger, both were delicious! Would definitely eat here again! Only criticism is that the biscuits are average and the fries are unimpressive... could use some more crunch!

Fantastic berry crepes, waffles and chicken, burrito with chorizo, and if course mimosa pitchers! They are famous for unique benedicts as well, and our friend enjoyed hers very much. Molly was a great help to us in selecting and explaining the menu, including some recommendations. Great little local favorite with quite a bit of seating. Friends all enjoyed breakfast. We were stuffed all day long. Recommend this for a good breakfast. Lunch and other menu items also available. Indoor and outdoor seating both available.

I have now eaten here for bunch two times this month and I have to talk about it!

When you pull up to this restaurant it is so cute and right on A1A. Both times we sat inside, the decor is beachy no doubt. The menu is pretty big, they have a lot of omelette and eggs benedict options! Now if you go on Sunday and want mimosas, pay attention to the napkin holder, this is where there little mimosa menu is.

The first time we were there our eyes went to the SOB balls.... gruyere and cream cheese fries balls of amazing goodness complimented with tomatoes and spinach. These. Are. SO good!!!!! SO good

I love that the owner took the time to reply to my review. We had not been back since March. We were there on a weekly basis prior to spring break. I'm glad he replied to my review because we came back in this morning. It was only our second time eating out since March.

Crazy good food as always! And you have to love the staff that has a great attitude. They are totally being safe with masks and are staying at below 50% capacity.

We came in on our visit to "Grandpa" in Satelitte Beach. There was plenary of good food. We all tried each other's and agreed that we all chose wisely. The staff was very friendly. We came at 1:45 not realizing they are only open until 2pm each day. But, they didn't mind and welcomed us in. They were still doing some renovations when we were there to the outside, it looks like it will be a good outside seating area if they add some umbrellas for shade.

Tip: you get a discount for cash

Wonderful breakfast! Came here for the first time after seeing is recommended time and time again. Really loved the menu...it was so hard to choose what to order. Husband ordered the country fried steak and I ordered the Cajun andouille Hash. I love Cajun flavors, however, sometimes, I regret ordering some Cajun dishes because the spice may overwhelm the flavor. I was very happy to find that I could enjoy the flavors and spice of this dish. The hash was more sausage than hash which I was impressed with! I had a biscuit with it and it was huge and delicious!
Will definitely come here again!
