The faculty is here to provide you with an excellent education. Our success is due to the simple formula of placing students in a small class with experienced instructors. Our program's heart is directed by Paulette Genthon, MAdE, LMT, a massage therapist with 50 years of Health Education experience.
We offer a 'Hybrid' program with on-site intensives enhanced with an interactive online format in between the intensives. Interestingly, the United States Department of Education published an 'Evaluation-Evidence-Based Practices in Online Learning-A Meta-Analysis and Review of Online Learning Studies found evidence to support that blended (Hybrid) learning is more effective than either face-to-face or online learning by themselves.
Performs a wide range of massage and body treatment services at The Spa at LifePointe for therapeutic and restorative purposes. Consults with clients to screen them for underlying conditions and assists the client in selecting appropriate services-functions within the framework of LifePointe policies and procedures and the state's legal requirements.
Through many of the courses, students will have several opportunities to "network" with current practitioners in various ways: site visits, guest presenters, mentoring opportunities, externship experiences, etc. Graduates inform the school about business opportunities that interest them, and the school informs them about business opportunities in their area of interest.
Tuition & Fees are conservative estimates by design and attempt to reflect differences in actual costs incurred by students with different lifestyle choices. 44 Semester Credit Hour/1000 Clock Hour - Diploma Program: three 16-week semesters (48 weeks) with 4 weeks extended lab each semester for continuation of internship and self-directed studies (12 months).

UCHA is my happy place and if you considering an exciting new career in massage therapy you will find experienced staff and a wonderful atmosphere to support you on your journey! The flexible hybrid program makes learning possible even if you live out of town or have other obligations. This will be a place I always come back to ^_^

Karen is an amazing rolfer. She has helped me tremendously after a life-altering elbow injury. I am so grateful she can assist with my recovery.
Rolfing is the most unknown, best solution to so many pains and aches. Learning to move correctly and taking the time to show you the movements needed, and helping you find them is key. Karen has an amazing, cooperative nature and I’m grateful for her every day.

I love the vibe of this place ,it's so zen like. I love old architecture and the old brick building the school is housed in is just amazing. I can not share about the student aspect as I have always seen Karen Griger. Karen is a Rolpher, but she also gives regular massages. I have had both rolphing sessions and massage sessions over the years. I'm the type of person if I go to a person and it works I keep going back. I'm also the type of person that doesn't believe in going to regular doctors. I'm unable to take pain meds or ibuprofen due to my ibs and past colitis. I

What a gem! I fully support student-run organizations, so I decided to give this place a try. Great quiet, private room with a very attentive therapist. I paid $30 for a 60 minute massage (with a face massage!), and I believe there is a 30 minute option (forgot the price). My only complaint is the lack of parking, but I got there early enough to find street parking about a block away. I also had an exceptional therapist, but I suspect that since it's a school you might end up with a total dud every once in awhile. Either way, for $30, I'll definitely be back!

This place is great. They did move to "historic FLorence" right across from the bowling alley. Parking is a bit difficult. If there is a lot, I don't know where it is. I usually park on the street.
The rooms are nice, very peaceful and calm. Massages vary by the therapist which is expected. Some have been incredible, others so-so. But overall I give them a thumbs up!
Receptionists are always very polite and accomodating!
