To say I am impressed with how Central Animal Hospital runs its office is an understatement! The staff is incredibly nice and cheerful! The vet I saw with my dog, Dr. Lavengco took time to explain and suggest things to me. I love the office and feel great about my dogs be patients there!. Brought our dog in from another vet hospital who over charged us and after 3 days was still not well.
Dr. Lavengco took us in immediately and within the first day was already seeing a difference. When Dr. Lavenco was not in Dr. Stetzer stepped in and was just as awesome. The employees are so friendly and you can really tell how much they care and love their job. Thank you guys for helping in getting our Cosmo back again!.

Dr. Lavengco was born and raised in Louisiana. Staying true to the state, he attended Louisiana State University to get his Bachelor's degree and Veterinary medicine degree. His interest in Veterinary Medicine started at age 12 when he chose to shadow a local veterinarian for a week. After that, he was hooked.

We are on the hunt for a new vet. Every single time I have called asking the front desk to leave a message for the vet, I have NEVER been called back…even after following up MULTIPLE times. In one instance, we had to take our puppy to the ER because she had kennel cough.. I must have called them 5 times asking for one of the vets to call me back. I received excuse after excuse and NEVER got a call back. If I had to guess, they don’t call back so you are forced to bring your dog in and pay the visit fee.

The Veterinarians, their assistants and their support staff have all been accommodating, caring, and informative. Dr. Lavenco has been kind and patient, and I am extremely grateful for his extra caring demeanor. The staff has always been super nice and understanding. Their facility is clean, appealing, and welcoming. Overall, they've been extraordinary! I live approximately 40 minutes from their facility and will continue to travel for their extra loving care of my little guy. I have no desire to change vets at any point. Our Airedale Terrier injured his left knee today and we were taken into the schedule within an hour. Very pleasant interaction with Dr. Kanis and Kathy and the rest of the staff. Bed rest with sedative and anti-inflammatory meds are keeping him comfortable. What a relief to know such a fine team is ready to help us.

We have been patients at CAH for about a year. In that time, I have been nothing but impressed at their professionalism, caring, patience, and friendliness. They are extremely responsive, especially via email, which is a HUGE plus in my book. I can also make appointments online, which I prefer. The vets, vet techs, and office staff have been great. I can't wait to see their new building! I can see why they outgrew their smaller space.

Our dogs have been coming here for a few YEARS for medical care and boarding. Not anymore! My dog was in there on the 8th of June because of our concern of our dog coughing. The Doc said his lung are clear and sent us on our way. That Friday both both spent the weekend as boarders and in their care, by Saturday the 19 our dog was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy with CHF at a Vet that took a moment to examine him.

Needed a new Vet to take my 7 month old Puppy in for his Wellness check up and last set of Puppy vaccines. Picked this Vet based on reviews and was not disappointed at all!! They got me in same day which was amazing. Everyone from the receptionist to the Vet was awesome. Dr. Elliott Stetzer was so easy going and great with my dog Piper! Found my new Vet and super happy!

I am beyond satisfied with Central Animal Hospital. Dr. Stetzler and staff are gentle and caring. My cat had a large cornea scratch in which Dr. Stetzler and his staff were very patient with me being a nervous wreck to a point I came in every other day for her to be checked. They never made me fee like the "Crazy Cat Lady" that I am. Always loving to my fur babies.

Cade Lavengco should not be a licensed Vet. He called in the wrong prescription multiple times and my pet suffered permanent damage. We are filing complaints with the state and lawsuits and have witnesses and proof to back this up. He made terrible mistakes with my pet and is in the process of paying for it through the system. When we told him what we were going to do he threatened us and harassed us with phone calls. This man should not be a Vet in the state of florida.

The staff has been absolutely wonderful! They always make themselves available for any questions or concerns you may have. Even when they're extremely busy, they always are patient, kind and professional. My English bulldog has benefited greatly from their thorough, thoughtful and kind treatment. We've come in for a variety of issues (eye, skin, joints). Each visit I leave with a good understanding of how to support the healing process. I'm continually impressed by their gentle nature and sense of humor (a requirement for the care of slobbery/goofy bulldogs). They are also incredibly reasonable with pricing.

Dr Stetzler is amazing. My little white miniature schnauzer Krystal hurt her neck jumping off the bed when we first moved to S. Florida the end of April. We went to 3 different vets one which was a neurological vet. They kept giving meds, she was not improving and 2 informed me I needed to consider putting her to sleep in May due to her age (13yrs old). They said she needed surgery and would not make it and I was looking at up to 15k. I could not pay that.
I have worked in neurology / neurosurgery for the last 15yrs. I knew what a C4-5 slip disk was and the symptoms. She was definitely exhibiting

I wouldn't recommend this vet for any situation. I had such a bad experience with this clinic during Covid . The team is nice but I'm speechless of how much they care about your situation, or your pets condition . I brought my dog for a skin condition . The vet's diagnoses: flea infestation. He gave my dog a shot , several other medications and a shampoo that were the total itens included on the bill ( over 200$ ) . I took my dog home , gave him a bath but didn't see any flea ( maybe one ) , he was good again until the second week when everything started all over again . I

Our four year old guinea pig got sick. I called soon as they opened and they got me right in. The office is super friendly and the staff is excellent. I am so happy we brought our little guy here. The doctor was so concerned and did a thorough exam. The doctor gave us two antibiotics and the cost of everything was so affordable. We are happy to report he's on the mend. To be honest we couldn't afford to take our guinea pig to a pricy specialty clinic. This vet did a fantastic job in healing our little buddy. I had been unhappy with the vet I was at and I wanted to find a new place not too far from me. A friend recommended Central before and I figured it was time to check it out.
It was a small emergency(literally) as my pup had worms. I didn't want to use over the counter options off the internet as reviews said they don't work, so I hustled in to the clinic.
I was helped right away by the gal in the front, and was expedited to a waiting room right away.

Just had another great visit with Central Animal Hospital for Belle's shots! We got to meet the new doctor, Dr. Lavengco, who was awesome and a wonderful addition to the CAH family.
We love CAH and have been going there for years. The love of animals that they share with our furry family members is like they were dealing with their own.

Dr Elliot Stetzer is the veterinarian who owns this practice. He's a solo practitioner and he appears to have 3 techs and 2 receptionists. I knew of this practice because he took it over about 8 years ago from the vet I had used since 2005, when I moved to Boca Raton.
