Lori Batcheller LMT, MPT, MA, CYT-500 is a licensed massage therapist, licensed physical therapist, and certified Kripalu Yoga instructor with over 20 years of experience helping to reduce people's stress and pain and improve health and well being. Lori uses a gentle yet effective eclectic approach to inviting the body/mind to release restricted patterns.
Customized massage includes therapeutic and Swedish massage techniques to reduce pain, tension, and relieve stress on all levels. I use a combination of methods to address muscles, fascia, and tendons to specifically target areas of pain, restriction, and/or dysfunction.

Additional techniques may be utilized including soft tissue mobilization, acupressure, medical massage, muscle energy technique (MET), and positional release therapy which combines gentle stretching with Jones Strain/Counter Strain during which joints are passively put into a particular position of comfort that allows for interruption of a strain reflex or inappropriate nerve activity.
I have been seeing Lori for massage and Myofascial release for almost two years now. I initially came in with chronic low back pain and tight muscles along my spine and neck. Every visit, Lori made me feel so well cared for and masterfully decreased my symptoms. Since I started seeing her, I've experienced a huge shift in my mind-body connection.
I require payment at the time of service via cash, Venmo, check, health spending account (HSA), or credit card. Please note that I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to miss an appointment and do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you may be charged a $50 no show fee. Just living isn't enough, said the butterfly, one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower.
Placing a wedge on your chair and/or car seat naturally aligns your back, creating the natural curve of your lumbar spine and stacking your shoulders and head over your hips. While nothing beats a trained therapists finger tips in releasing the sub occipital muscles, this device can help in between therapy sessions.

Lori is excellent! My muscles and my mind feel so relaxed after every session. I highly recommend her, especially if you have chronic pain issues.

I get Craniosacral Therapy and Massage from Lori, and they're always outstanding. I do Craniosacral therapy weekly, and it makes such a difference in how I feel in my body, and helps me achieve a deep relaxation. I have an out of body experience every time, and I don't know how she does what she does, but her touch is magical.

I can't say enough good things about Physical Therapy. I think the reason why I enjoy my physical therapy sessions has to do with the level of education and standards that physical therapist achieve.
Especially, when it comes to dry needling. Way better than any acupuncture treatment I have ever had. Not surprising when considering a good number of the acupuncturist in the state where trained at southwest acupuncture college.
