The combined firm will operate under the name Walters & Associates, CPAs, under the direction of Mr. Doug Walters as Managing Partner, providing audit, tax, accounting, and consulting services for individuals and businesses while serving clients in 35 states. For purposes of financial statement presentation, Bobbitt, Pittenger & Company, PA will retain its prior identity for a reasonable transition period.
The firm will maintain offices in Bradenton and Sarasota, Florida, and the former Bobbitt, Pittenger & Company, PA team will continue to operate from Sarasota. The primary reasons for this merger were to be able to offer expanded resources to our business and individual clients and create a premier Southwest Florida CPA firm.
