Services
We know how important they are to your life, and how much trust you put in us as your choice of a veterinarian. For 27 years, we have been Overland Park's home for exceptional vet care. We provide the community a top rated veterinary experience from our compassionate experts to our state-of- the-art treatments.
Your pet is an important part of your family, and when he or she is ill, you want the best medical care available. Preventive veterinary care is the cornerstone of keeping your pet their healthiest so that you and your pet can have more great years together. Vaccinations are important to be updated regularly to prevent diseases than can shorten the lifespan of dogs and cats.
In order to maintain our high standard of service, we require that payment be made at the time services are rendered. We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges. Oxford Animal Hospital is happy to accept Cash, Check, Major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover), Scratchpay and CareCredit.
Preventive veterinary care is the cornerstone of keeping your pet their healthiest so that you and your pet can have more great years together. Since pets age more quickly than people do, it is critical to have regular physical examinations every 6-12 months to assess your pet's health. Annual age-appropriate lab tests, testing for heartworm and/or tick-borne diseases, and fecal tests for parasites may also be recommended for your pet.

I took my puppy here for the first 6 months and tried to tough it out even though I didn’t leave with the best first impression after his first visit. They were never outwardly rude, but something felt very off and that there were judgmental undertones. The first visit the vet tried to convince me that I needed to consider switching dog foods to something “clinically tested”, such as the Hills Science Diet. I had done pretty extensive research prior to even picking up my puppy and felt comfortable with what I was feeding him, which I would not have with the Hill’s - that’s a whole other

My family has used them for all of our animals. They are always professional and willing to help reduce cost where they can. I appreciate them being upfront and always explaining why certain things are needed. I highly recommend if you are in the market for a new vet. Lindsay is amazing! Always remembers us and our animals. And her vet tech Jan is the sweetest. Been through tough times with our animals and they’ve always been amazing!

I followed Dr. Maasen and Jan Hueben, RVT, to the practice after the retirement of Dr. Cramm at Trailridge and have found a team as dedicated to animals as they are. Dr. Gaugh has been helpful in treating my cat's thyroid and recurring UTI issues. Everyone in the practice cares for pets and their humans. (The referral to Becky Hamill, RVT, for pet sitting was a priceless gift!)
