An initial appointment involves taking a history of what is bothering you. You and the doctor will talk about the symptoms and problems you are having. The doctor will hand write your information which keeps it very confidential. Your chart or financial information is not accessible by the internet in Dr. Shilling's office.
The office is dedicated to the well being of the whole individual. We strive to make a warm, inviting, therapeutic environment that allows the patient to move towards improvement in a teamwork approach. Being in the Healthcare field, I would NEVER let my loved on, especially a vulnerable adult see her. She is completely unprofessional. Seeing all these reviews... and the same issues, how in the world does she have a license?? I will be taking this experience with her today to the Nebraska Board of Psychology as everyone else should to.

I must say these comments are simply ridiculous, and who ever is writing these fake reviews you should be ashamed of yourself. Dr. Kay has by far been the best provider to work with. She believes in well being of the patient and try's to get to the root cause of the problem. What I LOVE about her is she believes in natural remedies. In past experiences most providers just want to drop a drug on you but not understand the root causes of things; Therefore symptoms worsens.

I want to personally say I enjoy having Dr. Kay as my Doctor, her office is very welcoming & everything is cool, calm, and collective. With my dx she has went through lengths to accommodate my needs with out shoving a RX in my face. Dr. Kay is a great listener and also a great communicator the dialog between me and her is very positive and if you was to ask me years ago would I be where I am today I would've laughed at everyone. However with the help with Dr. Kay I am a better man then I ever was, thank you Dr. Kay.

Dr. Shilling has been seeing my disabled brother for years for paranioa and schizophrenia. She has and continues to treat him with great care. Her professionalism is the epitome of excellence and integrity as well as being loving, kind, and compassionate for patients in her care. I am proud to say that this this is my psychiatrist. I have been in therapy off & on starting at 6 yrs old starting with at that time phobias. I've lived in many states & I have a family history of mental health workers including doctor, nurse, etc we even had a facility that housed patients & I've also studied mental health. I want to let you know that in all my years I cannot say that I've not met many others that have the sincere gift that Dr. Shilling has. She is awesome don't listen to the other two review's she has many other clients she has been helping me with a lot! She is a nice woman I would rather have her then some rich guy in a suit in a stuffy office who doesn't care. She has helped me understand my autism that I never knew I had the school I went to never tested me. I recommend her take a chance on her unless you don't then me my guest and get someone who just shoves pills at you and doesn't care. Its up to you.
