Raised in Yonkers, Dr. Viana received his Bachelor of Science degree from Manhattan College in 1977. In 1981, he graduated from Columbia University School of Dentistry with honors. Dr. Viana has received advanced post-doctoral training in cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics and dental pharmacology.

Dr. Viana is the BEST.
My wife, son and myself have been seeing Dr. Viana for many years now.
At this point of our lives, my wife n I have seen many Doctors. So, thru our life experiences we are very good judge of Doctors, medical staffs and people.
He is nothing short of EXCELLENT. As a Dentist he is amazing, thorough, precise, kind, gentle and totally aware of your comfort level when he is doing his thing. Never rushes. Listens to you as the procedure is taking place. His many years of experience is very apparent. There isn't anything he cannot do.

I've been seeing to Dr Viana for several years now as has all my family (my dad absolutely loves him)! He's truly a pleasant, lovely Doctor that's always been super great! I just got my teeth cleaned tonight and it was quick and easy. His staff is as sweet as can be as well! Carla who's always so calming when she cleans my teeth, Fatima such a sweet, sweet lady, and Jennifer always so lovely and quick with a smile (and great at reminding my entire family it's time to come in for a checkup/cleaning)! Going to the Dentist can be a scary experience sometimes but with Dr Viana it's always a pleasant

If i could give 0 stars, i would! dr. viana is one of the most rude and aggressive doctors you could encounter. he didn't address my problem at all (which turned out to be an apicoectomy that i needed). the first time i went to his office he made me come back for something that was important to be done on the spot (claiming he didn't have time to fit me in on that very day). he also had issues with my insurance that he couldn't help with! avoid this doctor at all costs. i will be calling up the medical board to report him as well for his conduct.

If I could give this dentist a zero I would. Stay away this guy is a butcher who only cares about the insurance money. I am 39 years old now and saw this dentist when I was a naive kid going through high school. I strongly believe I didn't have any problems with my teeth. As he told me different. He drilled on to my teeth and now as a 39 year old lost most of them. Don't go there and do not send your kids there if you want to keep your teeth from for years to come.

I found Dr. Viana on the Internet and it was the best find I have made! He gave me a thorough consultation and made the appropriate recommendation(s). I immediately scheduled an appointment for a much needed cleaning and x-rays. The hygienist Carla was absolutely wonderful and patient. Been years since I had a cleaning so my teeth and gums are horribly sensitive, but she took her time and did everything to make me comfortable. Still have much plaque to clean up and will be returning to finish up the job. Dr. Viana met with me shortly after to discuss my x-rays. Again, very thorough explanation
