I got my first body massage here last Saturday. It was amazingggggg! The entire experience was everything! I love that they have a variety of selections to chose from and that they send you a reminder for your appointment. I love how nice everyone was. The person I had do my massage was awesome(Erica) she made me feel very comfortable and she did a great job! Overall l loved it and I will definitely be booking another massage here soon! I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing spa day, wonderful massage and great vibes!😊

The staff is amazing and accommodating. Crystal is fantastic and pays attention to what your body needs. I have only had two massages in my life and this was the best.

Terrible communication on ALL fronts from the owner to the managers. Failure to send a reminder about the time/day of the appointment. The spa charged me anyway. Then, instead of transferring the amount to another date, they only offered me 50% of what I had paid in full. I reluctantly rescheduled an appointment and then when my boyfriend and I continued to our service, it was completed 30 minutes early. Failed communication AGAIN. We were still charged. Thank you! I have a strong feeling that the owner of Savannah Day Spa closely monitors google reviews because my experience could not have been better. The receptionist was very friendly, offering me something to drink while I waited for my appointment (I was 15 mins early). My masseuse saw me right on time and asked where to focus and pressure preference. She was personable, friendly, and clearly had been trained well. I don’t know when we will visit Savannah again, but I will absolutely return when we do.

My husband and I booked a couples massage (10/22/21) for our babymoon in Savannah. I was so looking forward to my prenatal massage and he too was looking forward to his massage. Upon arrival, we were greeted by their wonderful receptionist. She is kind and was really the only positive thing we experienced while we were there. The two massage therapists came down to grab us and they did not greet us warmly. They asked us to follow them up. Upon entering the room, neither massage therapists talked to us about our overall goals of the massage nor asked if we had any problem areas we would like addressed

Savannah Day Spa is downtown and therefore the prices reflect that. The decor is very outdated and honestly tacky. Different than other spas I've been too. We booked a couples massage, the therapist did not even introduce herself to me or ask anything about my preferences. She never asked how things were going or amount of pressure. Also there's no neck support on the bed so my neck hurt worse after the service. Also the room is cold, the bed is not heated, and the lotion was cold. It was a very impersonal average massage. You can get much better massages at a lot of other places in Savannah

Celeste greeted me by name and invited me to her office. She thoroughly explained a scheduling mistake and shared two services she could personally offer me. I chose a massage technique new to the spa, and I absolutely enjoyed it. Celeste communicated throughout the experience to ensure my comfortability. There are many spa options in Savannah, your money would be better spent elsewhere. We went back and forth with the manager, Taylor, to set up a group booking for a bridal party. When we got there, somehow three of the five reservations did not exist. The staff then proceeded to attempt to blame myself as the person booking it for the mistake. The manager was unavailable to address the issue. The staff offered to fit people in or call around for alternative spa options, neither of which were actually done. Critical: Communication, Professionalism, Quality
Very disappointing experience!
The staff (especially the nail techs) were very polite and professional. I wish the same could be said about the management. My friend had paid for a 5.5hr package and was told to hurry up before her time because the manager wanted to go home.
The spa/house is not clean (there was hair in the shower), the massage and scrub were not good, the therapist barely applied anything. The "hair mask" was a 2 minute service that was not what was described. This was not worth the cost. This place needs a major change

Our appointment for a couples' massage wasn't scheduled, however, the lady at the desk, maybe a manager or owner, was able to push another appointment back so that we couple get our massages. That being said, it was not the full 60 minute massage that we were expecting and it felt rushed. The ladies were very attentive, nice, and professional though. Our pedicures were great too! There weren't 2 ladies for the pedicures due to a family emergency so my husband and I had to take turns which prolonged our services. We understood, however, because emergencies happen. I was extremely disappointed. Our group tried to resolve our disappointment amicably and before leaving feedback, but we are instead being harassed, accused of horrible untruths including being entitled and only wanting a free service. We were promised that owner and staff would retaliate if we left feedback. Be warned.

My best friend and I came to Savannah for a girls trip and the Day Spa did not disappoint! There was a great atmosphere and caring employees. Nothing was rushed, attention to detail was on point, and recommendations provided were greatly appreciated. Sue did a fantastic job with my pedicure and helped me pick a color I wouldn't have normally have chosen, but have grown to love. They feel very strongly that the pedicure should be very comfortable and not at all painful, unlike many other salons! Highly recommend!

My fiancé and I got couples deep tissue massages here yesterday and had a mixed experience. Pros and cons are below.

PROs
- We were able to get an appointment for a Friday evening the day before and the process for making the appointment was easy.
- The spa is beautiful and clean.
- The staff were friendly.
- My masseuse did a great job - my back and neck were extremely tight and in a bit of pain and she worked out the kinks well and I felt much better immediately after.

This place is beautiful. It is in an old historic 3 story house. I had tweaked my back and was in need of a massage. I typically get 30 minutes to an hour massage, so this was my first longer massage. Had a 90 minute massage with Reggie and it has been the best massage I ever had. Thank you!'

I had a 90 minute massage today and I will list the pro's first:

* the massage lasted a full 90 minutes

Now the con's:

* the massage lasted 90 minutes
* I asked for a Swedish/relaxing massage when I booked appointment, before we started, during the massage
* It was painful--I've never ever during a massage said Ouch--and a few times...
* I asked for light pressure during and often and it still hurts--hours later --so much that I've taken pain relievers.
* I have had massages before but this was not good--I told the person this was a mini birthday getaway and this massage

First let me say the this review is 100% based on our interaction with the owner, our inability to resolve a billing dispute, AND the length of time our services took to complete. We made reservations 2 weeks in advance for each of us, for a $238 PACKAGE each. The massages and facials were AWESOME as was the service and the personnel that completed the services. Only 1 nail tech was available and that was not the techs fault...they should have told us in advance and we would have gladly chosen another service. On our getaway to Savannah, I was determined to get a much needed massage in. Chose Savannah Day spa for our couples massage. It was well worth it (decent pricing) and long overdue.
They are very clean. The staff is friendly. My masseuse, Reggie was great. I was a bit tense when I got in place but he helped to get me relaxed. I had some knots that i appreciate him working on. And he made sure to ask if he was applying the right amount of pressure.

Beautiful location but be aware if you are unable to walk up the front stairs. Once you are inside they do have an elevator to take you up for the services.

Located on a lovely Cobblestone street in a 3 story historic rowhouse the waiting room is classically charming with spa gifts to peruse while you wait. If you would like a beverage and they don't offer... ask they are refreshingly delicious.

Ma had a pedi & mani she was very pleased. I had a massage & pedi would definitely recommend this place if you are coming in for a visit and wish to treat yourself to a massage and salon
