The level of detail your dentist can see makes a big difference in the quality of dental care provided. We recognize the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest technology in our office and the Global Microscope is one aspect of this. Because we are able to see more than a dentist who is not using this microscope, we are better able to diagnose and predictably treat our patients.
Dr. Patrick Lillis graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a bachelor of science degree majoring in Biomedical Science. After graduation Dr. Lillis attended Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska, where he received his doctor of dental surgery degree.
Upon Completion of dental school, Dr. Lillis did a two year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry in Kansas City, Missouri.This University-based residency program provided a heavy emphasis on implants, cosmetic and complex restorative dental modalities.

Shanda is our Registered Dental Hygienist. Shanda started her career in dentistry as a chair-side dental assistant for her childhood dentist in Dodge City Kansas while pursuing her academic requirements for dental hygiene school. That path led her to the dental hygiene program at Johnson County Community College where she graduated from in 2004 and immediately transitioned into becoming our sole dental hygienist.

I moved from Maryland to Overland Park in 2015 and needed to find a local Prosthodontist to complete by dental implant placement. Dr. Pat Lillis was recommend, and he completed my procedure. I have been his patient for others procedure since such as dental crowns. He and his entire staff are very professional, competent and courteous. Shanda is great at her medical care, a great communicator to help you understand your dental health, and always professional and thorough. Dr. Lillis is great an patient care, clear dental communication for the patient, personal care and interest and he has developed a very positive office culture. Everyone on the team is super friendly and goes out of their way to make sure the experience is comfortable. No better dental experience in the area. Dr. Lillis is so kind and thorough, and you can tell just how much he cares about his staff. I’ve been going for 6 years and the same people are there. It feels like family. Shanda has been my hygienist the whole time and she is incredibly personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. I have recommended them so many times I should probably be getting residuals 😂

I am so happy with my experiences with Dr. Lillis and his team. I was recommended to Dr. Lillis by my oral surgeon in Kansas City, Dr. Faerber, whose office is in the same building. I had had to have two teeth pulled last December and needed restorative dentistry. Dr. Lillis was the perfect choice for this work. My jaw bone is small, and Dr. Lillis explained that although implants are popular now, the best option in my particular case would be a bridge due to my jaw bone size and other issues. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Lillis for over one year. We continue to be impressed with our experience. His staff, starting with the office personnel to the hygenist are always friendly and accomadating. I have had a few issues with my teeth over the past year. Dr. Lillis has handled them quickly and even shown me the digital photos of the issues. I found this to be very reassuring. I would highly recommend Dr. Lillis.
