Services
Compassionate Care Veterinary Hospital of Charlotte is a warm, friendly, family-focused veterinary practice that strives to provide compassionate, comprehensive care for all our canine and feline patients. Our patients and their families always come first so we've incorporated longer appointment times which allow us to really get to know our patients and clients.
Compassionate Care Veterinary Hospital of Charlotte Offers A Full Service Veterinary Clinic. At Compassionate Care Veterinary Hospital of Charlotte, we believe that your pet is a part of the family, yours and ours. That is why we have made it our mission to provide comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care and that is in the best interests of you and your furriest family member.
There is nothing more luxurious than a relaxing vacation away from home. If you're a pet owner, however, it can be hard to relax while worrying whether the neighbor kid gave Oscar his meds or made sure Coco got enough exercise. Our practice offers pet boarding so you never have these worries. You can kick back knowing that your beloved pets are properly cared for in a friendly, fun, secure and nurturing environment.
Sometimes, keeping Tiger's chompers healthy can feel like a big job. Luckily, our practice provides advanced veterinary dentistry services in addition to basic dental care. This includes routine care such as cleaning, along with treating more complicated conditions. Because our pets don't brush their teeth every night before bed like we do, tartar can firmly adhere to the teeth.
As technology leads us into the future and improves our lives, diagnostic imaging is no exception. Digital radiology gives our practice the ability to diagnose conditions almost on the spot. This allows us to treat conditions faster and more effectively. With today's current digital radiography, our practice takes the x-ray image on advanced machinery which sends it directly to digital x-ray sensors for storage and display on a computer.

Had a wonderful experience taking my dog to see Dr. Johnson. I was having an emergency situation and had called 15+ ER and non-ER vets to get my dog looked at. They were able to work him in shortly after I called and took great care of him. They kept me well informed during his follow up appointments and would recommend them.

Everyone at Compassionate Care is so loving of the pets they treat. They know the pet's name and general demeanor. The doctors make sure to speak with the pet owner about what's going on. And, customers are told in advance of estimated costs.

We love Compassionate Care! Dr.Johnson is the best! Our cat was struggling with urinary blockage and side effects from the meds but now he’s doing so good! 5 stars, highly recommend!

This place really means it when they say "compassionate care." I've only had good experiences here with my cat for the years she just need routine healthcare, and now as she is receiving hospice care I have felt so cared for and treated with empathy and compassion. Every person who has seen my at here has seemed to genuinely care about her and her well being and it makes me feel a lot of trust in their care. It's been a hard time for me the past couple months with a very sick pet and the staff here is doing everything they can to help me through it.

When we had to put our little best friend down, they made the unbearable a little more bearable with all their kindness, patience, and compassion. They couldn't have been better. Thanks so much for being there to help us.

Compassionate Care is the only vet I will ever use for my fur babies. Drs Johnson and Webb, along with Madison, Teresa, Adriaunna, and the rest of the care family treat and love my pets as if they were their own. Together we have welcomed new lives, healed wounds, and mourned the losses of those who’ve crossed the rainbow bridge. . I can’t thank them enough for always being there for us.

Dr. Johnson and her team treated us like family. I had tried a few local vets/clinics and came back to Dr. Johnson because of her exceptional attention to our dog and her outstanding kindness and respect for us.
We recently needed to put our sweet dog down and they were wonderful. They walked me through the decision and the process and provided our family with space to take our time to love on her and say goodbye. Madison helped us so much and Dr. Johnson played with our toddlers while we gave our last hugs. They even mailed us her paw prints. We are very grateful.

Compassionate care is the best veterinary office I have ever been to. We found a lump growing on my dogs chest and needed to find a new vet to help us remove it. We called several other local offices and they didn’t even answer the phone. They almost immediately were able to tell that my dog had breast cancer. They took x rays of her and the concern was that she had gone metastatic. The vet seemed very sincere in her concern and her desire to get ahead of this thing. The blood work came back a few days later and the vet received it while beginning her lunch break but she still dropped everything
