What attracted you to AHI Properties? I was hired in 2000 after having worked with AHI Corporate Housing in 1997 and 1998 to help develop a real estate division. We began purchasing single family homes for our own portfolios in 2001 and acquired RentSouth in 2003. This led to the formation of AHI Properties and managing other people homes in addition to our own.

Last December we asked if there were any applications in on a house in Helena. We were informed there was not. We applied and paid the fees and they had actually mislead us because they claim they were referring to no "pending applications"
they want on to try to coerce us to rent various properties through them to basically make a double sale on leases between us and the people that had secured the house we wanted.
I expressed this to the woman over the phone that it was deceptive business practices and she was very rude to me.

I had a property that AHI managed for 10 years. They helped me extensively through fixing water leaks and overall supervision of my property. In the end we had issues with a disgruntled tenant and they handled the situation better than I could of imagined.

AHI Properties do not care about their renters and only the property owners. Renters beware and use another service. Our case is similar to The Overstreet’s where they are trying to steal from our security deposit on maintenance issues that were problems before we moved into the home. THEY WILL ATTEMPT TO STEAL YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT UPON AFTER YOU MOVE OUR BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR RENTERS. I actually was going to give them a 1 star when we moved into the residence because they did not bother to clean it as it was written in the contract. However, I decided to give them the benefit

We lived in our rental for two years. We signed contracts to move in early November for a move in date of mid December. When we got our keys the house wasn’t cleaned, gross utensils, cups and dishes were still in the cabinets and dishwasher. The walls were disgusting and had stains all over them. We had to cancel our movers and push them a week, and extend our other rental a week longer to clean the house so it was move in ready. We rented from this company for 2 in a half years. They wanted us to pay for brand new painting of the home after leaving. This was not in the lease agreement and we had proof of before and after pictures. They took our deposit for paint damage that they claimed we caused. I do not recommend anyone to rent from them! They never gave us a call back only emailed us after we’ve sent numerous of emails to them( very unprofessional).
