You can claim a tax deduction for contributions you, or someone other than your employer, make to your HSA even if you do not itemize your deductions on Form 1040.
If you become entitled to elect COBRA continuation coverage when you otherwise would lose group health coverage under a group health plan, you should consider all options you may have to get other health coverage before you make your decision. One option may be "special enrollment" into other group health coverage.

Jim Gilbert was extremely rude and acted like he did not want to waste his time helping me. As a 26 year old I have been on my parents insurance for my whole life, recently that changed with my birthday and jim acted like I was worthless and ruining his day by coming in for an appointment. As a potential future client you would think he would be… friendly. Worst experience I have ever had with someone who is supposed to be a "professional" in this community. I was unaware of the deadlines of certain things as I have never dealt with this before and jim made me feel very stupid. Never will

I recently turned 26 and had to be off my parents insurance, unaware of deadlines and anything to do with health insurance I went looking for guidance, facts and professional help at this office and was treated with very little respect. Jim Gilbert acted like he did not want to take the time of day to even give me information, rolled his eyes repeatedly and had such a rude and condescending attitude. I would have given no stars but in order to make a review I had to. I would never recommend anyone to seek of the "help" of this man. whether the deadlines for certain insurances had past or not, I

I went through grant when I was self employed and he set me up wit major medical plan and at that time in my life I was 29 and healthy and didn’t think I needed insurance but I had a worker almost get injured on my job so I met with grant and he set me up with a plan , it wasn’t long after I got very sick ended up with endocarditis a infection… on my hart valve and I was sick for weeks ended up in ER went Thur the night and ended up in a survival flight to U of M were I had emergency open hart surgery and home nursing for recovery and some days I thank God that I had that coverage
