Dr. Patterson is a board certified prosthodontist with many years experience in all aspects of preventative and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Benjamin Patterson, DDS, FACP, graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2005. Upon graduating, he entered a prosthodontic residency with the United States Army. He completed his specialty training in 2008. By early 2009 he had achieved board certification through the American Board of Prosthodontics, becoming a Diplomat of the Board and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists.
At Mountain Springs Advanced Dental, we strive to provide thorough, customized solutions for all aspects of your dental health, from cosmetic bonding to veneers to dental implants. One of the most important aspects of your dental health is routine cleanings. A professional cleaning fortifies your at-home oral cleaning routine of brushing and flossing and allows us to keep an eye on areas of your mouth that may need special attention.
Our goal here at Mountain Springs Advanced Dental in Colorado Springs is to support all aspects of your dental health by providing thorough, customized dental care. This includes keeping your smile in optimal condition both in terms of appearance and health. An important part of having a healthy set of teeth has to do with their functionality.
The American Dental Association recommends that adults schedule regular dental exams at intervals determined by their dentist according to each patient's individual needs but at a minimum of once a year. These regularly scheduled dental exams act as a premeditative treatment for any abnormal changes to your oral health.

I absolutely love this office. Taryn (sorry if I spelled it wrong) is my hygienist, and I get to see her for every cleaning. Dr. Patterson is down to earth and amazing. The whole staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I am always greeted by name with a smile. They even give you blankets and pillows, which truly make your procedure as comfortable as possible. I used to be afraid to go to the dentist and would have severe anxiety, and I don't feel any of that here. I look forward to my dental visits and getting to see all the amazing staff in the office!

I have never enjoyed or looked forward to a dentist appointment. I am please to have experienced both with this practice. Everyone was very nice and more than professional. I was treated with care and compassion. Dr. Patterson is honest, compassionate and straightforward. Summer made me feel comfortable and I am looking forward to my next visit.

Glad I found Mountain Springs Advanced Dental! The staff was efficient, patient and explained everything to me as we went through my new patient visit. Summer was great. Dr Patterson was thorough and explained everything he was seeing as he conducted the exam. I liked that he is direct, no nonsense and there was no upsell. He pointed out a tooth that needed a crown now, as I was expecting. I have definitely found my Colorado Springs dentist!! Highly recommend this practice.

For those of you who may have had bad experiences or are weary of dentists... I cannot recommend this place enough! Taryn has been my go to person for the past few years. She is non-judgemental, does not blame or shame you in any way. And understands that life is hard and no one is perfect. She also encourages me in positive and realistic ways. I also moved 30 minutes away, and will still choose them and make the drive. No doubt!

Dr. Patterson and his staff are wonderful. I was able to get a quick appointment after breaking a tooth and Sheila and the entire staff put me at ease and thoroughly explain everything. Dr. Patterson did an exceptional job of preparing the tooth, making a temporary, and perfectly placing an excellent crown. I couldn’t be more satisfied and will definitely refer others to this fine office.

Comfortable office with exceptional staff. My only issue with Dr. Patterson is his limited scope. He doesn't do root canals, no extractions, doesn't set implants, etc. I needed more complex work and some implants, and the total cost was significantly higher using him for the general dentistry part and using his recommendations for oral surgeons. I ended up switching to a dentist who does it all--he's an experienced oral surgeon, and am saving over $8000.

I searched for a dentist to put a new bridge in my mouth and thought I had found him. The temp teeth were awesome. The permanent ones are awful. I don't want to smile because they don't look nice at all. The dental appts were longer than necessary. Every time I was there the dentist would work between several patients at a time.he would do something on one of us and said I will be right back and he would go work on another patient. It was frustrating. This office needs to hire another dentist or space appointments out so each one can have full attention. I won't be going back here

Ok ok ok, Soooo, I still can't get over this Dental Office and the girls that work there. And the techs and Dr. Patterson (of course) They are the most sweetest and friendliest and efficient office ever . They know all the Insurance polices and filings that have to be done. AND as for the Appointments..... , They do everything they can to get you in, Not like waiting for 2 months or more.
I'm telling you/public all this because of my past experiences.

Mountain Springs Prosthodontics is the absolute best. Deanna, Monica, Holly and Cassandra are the kindest, most caring ladies ever. They do way more than any dental assistance or front desk worker, I have ever seen do before. They go above and beyond. They will even call your insurance company to make sure special procedures are covered for you, without you having to ask! I think my appointments would be much shorter if I didn't spend so much time talking to them! From the first day I walked into the office they called me by my first name like I was a regular (which I am now!) Dr.

The entire staff at Mountain Springs Prosthodontics are outstanding and Dr. Patterson is a true artist. They have tons of before and after pictures for you to see. He and his staff explained the whole veneers process! I decided to get 6 upper and 4 lower (due to wear from teeth grinding). It was a pretty grueling process of grinding/preparing the teeth, and it does take some time. There were a lot of steps involved, but was much quicker than expected (took 2.5 hours vs the 4 that we had scheduled). Photographs were taken throughout the procedure. First of all, Yelp needs to have a sixth star for those places that are just over the top great. If they did I'd give Mountain Springs Prosthodontics that sixth star. They are that good. If you have read any of my other reviews you know that I'm pretty picky so when I give 5 stars it is well deserved.
