Mardo, Lachapelle & Palumbo, LLP was founded in 1966 and is a full-service accounting firm located at 221 Broadway, Providence, RI 02903. The firm employs seven full-time employees including three certified public accountants, one staff accountant, and two support staff. In addition to our full-time staff, the firm employs an outside technology consultant on an as-needed basis.
Stephen has over thirty-five years of experience in public accounting at Mardo, Lachapelle and Palumbo, LLP. Stephen is the Managing Partner of the firm. He is knowledgeable and experienced in international, corporate, partnership, individual, estate, trust, and various state tax matters. In addition, he has extensive experience in auditing and accounting matters.
At Mardo, Lachapelle, and Palumbo, LLP, Tim is Director of Auditing and Financial Reporting. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing the firm's audit and accounting practices and is responsible for all financial statement opinions and reports issued by the firm and heads the firm's Quality Review Program which is the system of quality control for the auditing and accounting practice of the firm.
Sandra rejoined Mardo, Lachapelle & Palumbo, LLP in 2011 after spending several years teaching Secondary English for the Cranston and Warwick School Districts. Sandra is a paraprofessional and has worked in accounting for many years. She is experienced and knowledgeable in taxes, accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping.
