Ken is a principal at Myler & Szczypka, PC. Mr. Szczypka has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Central Michigan University. He has twenty five plus years of practical experience working with businesses which includes various client assignments with local, regional, and "Big 4" accounting firms.
Myler & Szczypka, P.C. formerly known as Myler & Associates, P.C. (the Company) began in May of 1989 when David Myler, left Deloitte, Haskins and Sells, and started a sole proprietorship with no clients. The Company first offered accounting, audit, tax and consulting services, specializing in providing services to small businesses.
Here at Myler & Szczypka, P.C. we specialize in the Common Interest Realty Association (CIRA) Industry. We currently provide audit and review services to over 200 CIRAs. Our specialization has enabled us to design a very efficient and effective audit approach. We are versed in fund accounting, replacement study requirements, and the Michigan Condominium Act.
Myler & Szczypka, P.C. has a variety of non-profit clients. Some of those include the following: Churches, Radio Stations, Civic Groups, and Hospitals. We understand the budget constraints the non-profit organizations face. We offer quality audits and reviews at an affordable price. In addition to the audit, we also are well versed in the preparation of the Form 990, Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with an accounting firm. So unprofessional and disorganized it was not even funny. Used them for the last 2 years which was my mistake. First year everything was sent to the wrong email addresses and I didn't receive tax info for months after finally finding out they never even sent it out! Second year I asked if they could expedite them for a fee. They said yes. A month later they finally were filed. After numerous phone calls and getting the run around they have finally been filed. Mind u that the taxes were already paid for because the said they were
