Services
Linhard's understands sitting in a lobby while your car is repaired is not the best part of your day. In an effort to make the wait more comfortable, we have added free WIFI access for all customers along with a shared flat screen television. We strive to keep a clean environment, where parents are comfortable relaxing while their kids play with our toy tow trucks.
Our certified technicians can perform many air conditioning services from testing and regular maintenance to complete A/C system repair. All of our parts and labor are under warranty. You have 3,000 miles or three months to return your vehicle to us. If you experience problems following service, please call us, as some parts may have a longer Manufacturer's Warranty.
At Linhard's, we tow and recover all cars, light and medium duty trucks, and motor homes while also providing emergency road service. Additionally, we offer flatbed service for transportation of machinery, toolboxes, motorcycles, sheds, trailers and other miscellaneous items. Linhard's was recommended to me through another local shop who, due to scheduling, was unable to look at my car. I had an issue with my temperature gage and needed it fixed quickly. Linhard's made the process simple and easy. I left my car at their lot after hours and left my key in the drop box. Early the next morning, they called me with a quote and the explanation of everything they needed to do to fix it! I had been trying to get a tow through Geico roadside for 6 hours. The first provider said that couldn’t get the car out of the parking space. The next never made it. Linhards was the third provider and knocked it out the park. They beat the ETA, they were friendly, and professionally. The driver called about the pickup and even let me know when he was close by!! Wish Geico had used them from the start. I will call them again for my next tow.

We were on a road trip to York PA today. We picked up a screw in our tire causing a flat tire. Of course cars don’t come with a spare now. Ughhh. We called Geico roadside assistance. Geico put us through to Linhard’s. The rollback showed up in about 30 minutes fully equipped to plug our tire and fill it with air and send us on our way. I don’t remember the drivers name but he was amazing, professional and made us feel like we’ve known him forever. He was done in 10 minutes. Thanks to him.

I always receive excellent and courteous service and have been a repeat customer for 30+ years. The mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and experienced on all makes and models of cars. I moved away from the area in 2010, but I have been coming back for the past 11 years to have my cars serviced timely at their regular maintenance service schedule. Yes, Linhards is that good and their honesty is second to None!!

So I have bad luck with tires. I'm forever running over stuff. Never a convenient time for a flat. Linhard's to the rescue the other day.
I was on my way to pick up my son at Towson. Done with Junior year. We had a full day of adventure planned. Hiking birding etc. Coming off 695 my jeep felt weird. Began to wobble violently. I thought, maybe a road irregularity. Nope. A flat rear tire. What do I do now? No spare. No Triple A.
Called a local service station who referred me to Linhard's. Thirty minutes the nice lady said. It was twenty nine. A terrific guy showed up and did a patch

I recently took my Dodge ram diesel truck in for repair. Ed, the service manager, was very helpful and very importantly,, Herb, their diesel mechanic, was very professional, able to diagnose multiple problems and get the truck running again. They worked hard to save me money on several parts that needed replacement and I appreciate them showing me what was done and needed to be done. Herb was very knowledgeable and appears to be second to no one in diesel repair. I highly recommend Herb and the shop in general for their expertise And good work. I am a tough customer to please, but was very happy

My battery went dead at my office and Linhard's was supernaturally patient with the cumbersome security requirements it takes to get into our compound. The tow truck took less than a half hour to arrive and they had replaced the battery and done an oil change within a few hours- even without an appointment.

I never thought I'd be writing a 5-star review about a towing company (because who ever wants to call a towing company), but Linhard's service was exceptional. They answered the phone immediately, sent a tow right away, and the driver was a great help to us - professional and didn't up-charge in a situation when he could have. My only complaint is they sent someone SO quickly that I didn't have enough time to finish all of the food that I had bought to eat my feelings! I'll be keeping Linhard's number in case I ever need a tow again.

Richard from Linhard's did a first-class job in getting my car to Anderson Honda! My 2017 Accord had the wheels stolen from it early Wednesday morning. He arrived at my residence to put my newly purchased wheels on my car, then towed it to the dealer so I could have it inspected. No one could have done a more caring a meticulous job. There's no doubt Linhard's must be proud to have him on their staff cause his work was nothing short of an A+ handling the entire process with professionalism and care. Thankful.

We called for a tow when our car broke down on I-83. As it was a weekend and we are from out of state it would have been easy to take advantage of us, but that's not what these folks are like! Our car was towed promptly by a pleasant and professional individual for a reasonable price.
On Monday morning we told the manager we had decided not to have the car diagnosed and repaired, but to donate it to a public radio station. Since they are also public radio supporters they waived several days of storage charges.
Linhard's treated us very well, and we recommend them highly.

Stuck on I-83 with a flat tire. Called Linharts after several failed attempts to change it out myself. The receptionist was very nice and the tow truck driver was also great- quickly and politely solved the problem. The price was very reasonable too. Very pleasant experience helped calm an otherwise crummy day.

Will never go back. Charged us way too much for damaged that they had caused!!! Not only was the situation beyond ridiculous the mechanic yelled at me and my boyfriend in the lobby after we were being more than polite. The women at the front desk and the owner were very nice. I was involved in a head-on collision and my wrecked vehicle was towed to Linhard's. The other driver was deemed liable, so after a couple of days coordinating with their insurance company (Geico), I was told to go pick up my personal belongings and tags so that Geico may have the wreck moved off to the salvage yard. Upon arrival, Linhard's stubbornly refused to allow me to remove my tags. I have an old van that I am trying to nurse along for another year or so. Linhards was honest in their diagnosis and truthful about the condition of my car and what did and did NOT need to be done. Over the last 6 years, I've developed a very strong aversion to mechanics after having horrific experiences with both Jiffy Lube and a Honda Dealership. Two separate and unrelated instances that cost me thousands of dollars.
