While I still LOVE what I do, and hope you love what I create for you, I also want you to get to know me. The real person behind "the lens." I was a corporate girl for many, many years-15 to be exact. I worked at the Daily Press newspaper in Newport News, VA in advertising for 8 years after college.
My home studio allows for the best of both worlds offering indoor space with props/backdrops perfect for babies and children. My outdoor space is 2 acres of gorgeous property with mature trees and a split rail fence for a very natural, countryside setting. In an hour session you can easily accomplish both to have a very diverse gallery to choose from.
A newborn session is generally done in the first 7-14 days of life. A studio session, depending on the package you chose, can last anywhere from an hour to 3+ hours. You will have access to a wide variety of props, hats, wraps, backdrops and studio and natural lighting. The time we spend together accommodates a combination of shooting, feedings, diaper changes and soothing/snuggles.
I love planning a photo session that you will fall in love with over and over. I am always so honored when you choose me to capture your life's most precious moments. And, I promise a session with me is relaxed and fun! We run, play in leaves, have tickle wars and throughout the process I am gently guiding the session along looking for the best light and scenery to make beautiful portraits.
Bonnie Raley Photography operates a boutique studio in her home in West Chester, PA. The studio is designed to handle newborns, babies, siblings and full family shots too. It is stocked with a variety of props to include: backdrops/floor drops, baskets, toddler sized chairs, toys, blankets, hats for toddlers and newborns.

Bonnie took absolutely beautiful photos of my family and smash cake photos of our daughter. It was wonderful working with her—she patiently answered my many, many questions before our session, and she captured my daughter’s personality perfectly in the pictures she took. We got both indoor and outdoor pictures in her lovely studio and property. I was so happy with everything and will definitely ask her to take more photos in the future!

Always a great experience working with Bonnie Raley. She has been photographing my children for a few years now and I cannot tell you how many compliments I've gotten on the prints in my home, birth announcements and christmas photo cards. My children adore her and she certainly has that way of capturing the most beautiful moments even with the not so cooperative toddler. I cannot say enough great things about her.
