Services
At Comfort Dental Associates we utilize the latest technology to help make our dental services effective and easier on our patients. We provide digital x-rays that re more timely as they bypass the chemical process required for traditional photographic x-ray film. These x-rays are also easily transferred and images can quickly be enhanced.
It includes brushing and flossing after each meal or at least twice a day, and eating a healthy diet as well as routine dental checkups and cleanings and examinations. These can help you avoid dental disease and major dental work. Good oral hygiene is important when it comes to healthy teeth and gums.
A filling is a dental process to restore the function and integrity of missing tooth structure. To treat a cavity, your dentist may remove the decayed portion of a tooth and then "fill" the area on the tooth where the decayed material was removed. A filling is also used to repair cracked or broken teeth, as well as teeth that have been worn down from misuse such as from tooth grinding or nail-biting.
Crowns and most bridges are fixed prosthetic devices, cemented onto existing teeth or implants, and can only be removed by a dentist. A crown is used to entirely cover or cap a damaged tooth. Its purpose is to strengthen a damaged tooth, and can be used to also improve its appearance, shape or alignment.
Dentures are a replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Complete dentures are used when all teeth are missing and partial dentures are used when some natural teeth still remain. Partial dentures are attached to pink or gum-colored plastic bases, connected by metal framework.

Removable partial dentures attach to your natural teeth with metal clasps or devices called precision attachments, which are generally more esthetic than metal clasps and nearly invisible.Crowns on your natural teeth may improve the fit of a removable partial denture, and are usually required with attachments.

I went to Comfort Dental when I lived in the area. I needed some work done on both sides according to the dentist, apparently, so I scheduled the left side first. I booked it weeks in advance of Thanksgiving in 2018, thinking I'd be fine for the holiday. Left side was done, but I waited to book the right side because of all the problems I was having afterwards. I told the dr that day that it felt wrong, but she just peeked in there and dismissed it. I went back once or twice, complaining of lingering issues and that something still didn't feel right, but all she did was give me MI Paste

First, full admittance that I have caused all my own dental issues because I have an extremely unhealthy fear of dentists and always wait until I am in severe pain before doing anything about it. However, this office behaved despicably and you should know never to use them.

I spoke to Cindy the week ending May 17th. I called because their website had a full page dedicated to their sedation dentistry options. Cindy answered and after I explained my complete fear and my absolute pain she assured me that they could take care of everything for me. I asked if they honored my insurance and she said

I've been going here for over 10 years and have been commuting from DC since my move out of the area in 2010. Fantastic service and top of the line renovated office. It's always an easy in and out coupled with reasonable prices!

My son and I have been patients for a couple of years. We are sold on Comfort Dental.

My son is an adult with autism and needs special attention from a dentist. Talk about special attention: Comfort Dental has gone the second mile and beyond with my son. Three staff members came in on their day off for a 4-hour appointment and the results were great. We look forward to going to the dentist now.
