Founded in 1958 by Leonard A. Des Jardins, R&D continues its tradition of exceptional legal services in business, real estate, litigation, and estate planning. Since our inception, the attorneys at R&D have protected our clients from unforeseen risks by constantly evaluating their business practices against the ever-changing laws of the United States.
Most Illinois registered agents charge its clients an annual fee to act as the registered agent, we do not. Most registered agents are not attorneys, we are. When we receive legal notices on behalf of our clients, we are equipped to take whatever immediate action is necessary so nothing slips through the cracks.

We represent businesses and individuals in bench and jury trials, appeals, administrative hearings, arbitrations, mediations, municipality and governmental forums. We regularly appear in all circuit courts throughout Illinois, including Cook, DuPage, Kane, Will and Lake County, as well as the United States District Courts.

Great to work with for getting the legal stuff done for my ecommerce business, especially the operating agreement. Extremely glad we found this firm. I believe they handled my sister's family planning matters, which us how we wound up using them.
In this situation, we had been stuck with with world's worst attorney out of Vernon Hills for a family estate matter and things were just not getting done. And when they were getting done, it was a rude and miserable experience. We switched to Robert Reda and his team and it was a dramatic difference in how our process moved along.
Objectively, this is an excellent team that gets things done and knows what they're doing. Highly recommended.
