Hi! I'm Jen of Wren Photography, a Traverse City wedding and family photographer with a passion for the outdoors. Every image on this website has been hand-picked. They represent the love between each couple, the laughter a family shares, and the bliss of the great outdoors. If these images inspire you, then there is a great chance we should work together!
I treat each photo session, as it's own adventure while keeping the same clean, modern, and timeless look that Wren Photography has become know for. Have a look through and then let's plan your own adventure.

I'm a Traverse City photographer that specializes in weddings and portraits. Although I'm available for travel around the world, I limit the destinations I take on to two a year. Instead, I focus on photographing around the Midwest--it's my favorite. The miles of sandy shores of the Great Lakes and the endless woods have my heart.
I am a nerd for photography (the first step is admitting right?). I love systemizing my workflow, I get jazzed at strategizing my marketing, and I do a happy dance each time I successfully finish another wonderful year in photography. Maybe it's because I am passionate about growing this business more successful or maybe it's just the fact that I really like what I do for a living.
I was studying photography at NMU in Marquette when I decided to start my photography business. So in 2009 I went down to the courthouse and got my business registered. A HA-I'm a photographer now (or so I thought). I knew my camera inside and out, I learned both film and digital, I knew studio lighting and on-location strobes, I thought I had it all to get started.
Managing a business is hard, like really hard sometimes. Trying to keep everything organized, sending and receiving payments, keeping on top of each client step can be a time sucker. So when I first found out about Honeybook, a new Client Relationship Management software (or CRM for short), I was ready for a change.
