John V. Schweppe, Jr. has been a resident of Shelby, North Carolina since 1959. He is a graduate Washington and Jefferson College and earned his law degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After service in the Army Schweppe returned to Shelby in 1973 and joined a local firm which traced it roots to the firm established by Gov. Clyde Hoey in the 1920's.

I can say from firsthand experience that the Schweppe Law Firm is professional, responsive, highest of quality and value when you need positive results. David Schweppe handled a driving citation for me that could have caused points on my license and insurance which in turn would have raised my rates. He told me from the start that he was going to bat for me and had my back no matter what... And he did just that! My daughter had received a ticket for what the police deemed an unsafe movement. After The Schweppe Law Firm was able to explain the situation to the district attorney, All charges were dropped. This means we owe nothing else and no points or penalties for insurance. Every time I called, everyone was professional and seemed to care about this case. I would definitely recommend them to others!

This law firm was awesome. They knew exactly what they were doing and knew exactly what the police in Shelby are doing. Setting speed traps right when you get off the interstate and just writing tickets all day. The officers also seem to tack on as much as possible but this law firm knows exactly how to handle them. A++++++++, F- for Shelby police for just trying to rob people instead of protecting and serving.

I contacted several law offices after getting a ticket for speeding and reckless driving. Schweppes was by far the most friendly and easiest to work with. It is pricey but highly worth it considering that did all the hard work. All I was required to do was pay and complete an online driver’s education course. Once that was completed, they held all my info until the court date. I was notified the day of the court appearance that my reckless driving charge was dismissed and my speed was reduced, as promised. I no longer have to worry about points on my license and insurance rates increasing. I

So thankful. This was my first experience with any event that required representation. John Jr. did an awesome job taking care of some legal documents for my mother and me recently. We were able to submit feedback and have the documents altered to our satisfaction. He is very professional, accommodating and good natured. The prices were fair and consistent with "going rates" and the turnaround time for the work only took a couple of weeks.
