Whenever I take a vehicle Iron Paw auto repair I feel like family. The kind and courteous staff there always treats you with respect. The workmanship of the mechanics is top notch in my opinion. Going to a new mechanic is always a little scary because you never really know what you’re in for. Are the mechanics going to be friendly? Are they not gonna take advantage of me? Are they gonna take forever?
I am happy to say that coming to Iron Paws, I definitely found that Troy was super friendly! They were very time efficient and they definitely took good care of me.

I brought my vehicle to Iron Paws after a drill bit tore up my wiring harness. I got my car back pretty quickly with the wires “fixed”. Except the abs light was on and the car would run terribly when using the wipers or air conditioning. My intake boot was left loose as well. I called and let Troy know I was dropping the vehicle back off on the following Monday because obviously something wasn’t right. I dropped it off Sunday night and left a text message letting him know it was there. I called every few days to check on it with no answer every time. Every call and text message I sent within

Troy is awesome. I've never been to any shop like his. He is friendly, helpful, and most importantly HONEST. He goes through the whole process of repair with you and is simply incredible to work with. He went above and beyond for me and he certainly will be seeing my vehicles in the future. Troy is a wonderful mechanic and a honest man. He will tell you and sell you only what you need and he will make suggestions for things he sees that might need to be looked and soon. I left him my VW told him what I wanted and needed and he did absolutely great work was able to get all my parts at good prices . Very fair prices and fantastic satisfaction. I have and will continue to refer my friends and family to him. Troy will not try to sell you something you don’t need he is a honest hardworking small business man. Thank you Troy!!

I blew one of my ignition coils on my VW Passat 20 miles from Iron Paws on road trip. I had no idea what happened with my engine and honestly thought I was going to be stranded over night. It was past 5:30pm, Iron Paws was closed, but I got a hold of Troy on the phone and he told me to come on by.
Troy got the parts, and fixed everything right then and there knowing that I needed to get back on the road. Charged an extremely fair rate, and gave me the full rundown on what the issues were. Great experience.

These guys are amazing. we were on our way thru from syracuse going on vacation when we lost forward momentum. pulled over on the side of the road and since we had just passed their sign called, came with a tow strap but realized it couldn't be towed so went back to their shop, got tools and a jack and fixed the issue. my family and I are so… thankful for them. some people would've stuck us and said call a tow truck but these guys took the time to come back and fix the problem. very friendly even with our dogs that were with us. yall saved our vacation!!! thqn you is not enough!!!

Easy 5 stars best shop in the area. I highly recommend. Best prices, the guys working are easy to talk to and appear to enjoy their job, wont try to sell you stuff you don’t need just to make a buck. My 01 Dakota and I are very satisfied.

Best Shop in the area (Including Watertown) not just a solid deal, but they do great work. The guys have a ton of experience. They also warranty their work and stand by it. Absolutely the best place for car repairs. Being a woman sucks when you have to go to a mechanic but not when that mechanic is Troy. He explains everything in a way I can understand and never, ever tries to take advantage, knowing I know nothing about cars. He gives me the best deals possible and I appreciate the way he's always willing to get me… right in and out. Today he did quite a bit of work on my car and it was completely done by 1 pm. Not only did he do everything I asked, he went the extra mile and filled my washer fluid, put air in my tires and put new windshield wipers on. I will
