Sarah Van Alstyne is a nationally featured and worldwide published high school senior portrait photographer in Frisco, Texas. Sarah specializes in portraits for both senior girls and senior guys, and uses her thirteen years of experience working with teens to make the session as unique and fun as possible.
And lastly, I am a wife to Matt and mother to our boys, Bauer and Walt, who are all proof that it is possible to live while your heart walks around outside of your body. Originally from Amarillo, I've lived in the North Dallas area for most of my adult life. I was an English teacher for almost 14 years, and now I devote my time to my family and other passions--photography included.

Sarah did an amazing job on our newborn photos! We had several props we brought and she made sure to incorporate them. Also our newborn was fussy that day and she was so patient with him. She allowed us time to try and calm him and was still able to get great pictures even when he wasn’t super cooperative. We would definitely use her again!

WOW! Now I am not one to take pictures in fact I feel I am far from photogenic our pictures came out AMAZING!! Sarah captured some of the best random and unplanned photos because she was always present, prepared and professional. If you need any type of family photos you MUST have Sarah (SBVA Snaps) take your pictures I can promise you won’t be disappointed.

Sarah is fantastic and patient. She knew I hated all of my previous professional headshots so she made sure to overdo it and take many different styles and angles. Sarah is fantastic! She did my brothers high school grad pics and I used her for my college grad pics. She made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera and did an amazing job! We took some family photos with her as well and I haven't had people stop asking me about her, the photos are phenomenal and Sarah is so friendly and kind.
