Chemical Engineering Partners (CEP) was established in 1988 as an affiliate of Evergreen Oil, Inc. (EOI), a company involved in the re-refining of used lube oil to produce lube base oils. At that time, on-stream performance of EOI's refinery was marred with problems of severe fouling, carbon deposition and a very short catalyst life.
Chemical Engineering Partners (CEP) licenses state of the art re-refining technology by providing basic engineering package and optional detailed engineering services to clients world-wide. CEP provided basic engineering and hydrotreating technology for this 150,000 MT/A re-refinery built in Lencois Paulista, Brazil.
The individual team members bring their experience, knowledge and dedication to create an atmosphere of ingenuity and commitment to innovative and environmentally friendly solutions. Joshua started with Chemical Engineering Partners in 2007 as the Engineering/Project Manager. He has directly and indirectly managed the technical aspects of CEP's projects the last five years.
CEP, as part of a comprehensive program, provides training and operating manuals for CEP designed re-refineries. The operating manuals include standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operating the plant as well as plant startup, shutdown and troubleshooting problems that may occur. Engineer and operator trainings are done at the project site.
