For over 30 years, Nora Veterinary Hospital has served the pets - and their people - of greater Indianapolis. Our owner, Dr. Brennen Flory, brings a fresh, innovative, positive approach to proactive patient care, meaning he wants to help your pets maintain optimal health. Dr. Brennen Flory is one of those veterinarians who always knew he wanted to work with animals. Originally a Northwest Ohio native, he earned his DVM from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. He's been practicing in Indiana ever since.

We will be open for appointments and will continue to provide curbside service with the added option of remaining in your vehicle or coming into the building. When you arrive for your appointment, please remain in your vehicle and call or text us at 317-846-7334. A team member will come out to your car and escort you and your pet into the hospital.
The best way to keep your pets healthy is to give them a healthy start! As soon as you welcome a new pet into your home, regardless of their age, it's important to bring them in and discuss their specific needs with the veterinarian and team. Every visit includes a thorough physical examination, during which we walk you through what we are looking at and why.
Older pets are special in so many ways, including in their health care needs. As pets' bodies and minds age, we also adjust our wellness care to meet their emerging needs, keeping them happy and comfortable throughout their senior years. Older pets may become less active than they were in their youth, which may mean their diets need to be adjusted to avoid putting on extra pounds.

I've been going to Nora Veterinary Hospital since 1995. There was Dr. Cummins (who was so kind to let me make payments when times were tough) and then Dr. Martin, who also cared deeply for all of our animals. Now, Dr. Flory. Dr. Flory and the team were so absolutely incredible when taking care of my rescued Chesapeake Bay Retriever Delaney, who my family was privileged to have for 12 years. You sense that they really care about your pets and it's not a "business first" situation. I brought my dog here to have some growths removed. They removed them and took great care of my dog. All of the staff was very nice and sweet. They even unloaded and loaded my 100lb Labrador since I was unable. The vet can be very expensive, but I found them to be very affordable and thorough. I greatly appreciate everything they did for us. Thank you Nora Veterinary Hospital!

Had my cat, Mikey, for 16 1/2 years. He was over 17. He was simply old and tired, and within weeks developed trouble walking so I had to lift him in and out of his litter box. We took him to Nora Veterinary Hospital knowing it was time. The entire staff was excellent and made a hard time at least tolerable. They were 100% professional and empathetic. Thank you all very much for your help and consideration. I am older also, so Mikey will almost certainly be my last pet, but I will definitely recommend NVC. Thank you all again.

I’ve been with Nora veterinary for about 20 years through several doctors and many pets. without a doubt every one of my pets are well cared for by great staff, my 13 year old pug actually enjoys going to the vet and he hates everything, lol. Keep up the good work Nora!

Sloppy team. They’re very nice, but incredibly uncoordinated. Dr. isn’t through enough with checkups and one of my fur babies still had issues even after he gave us an all clear. My pets’ health isn’t something I mess around with and I don’t feel that this place provided the best care for my pets.
Willy is super nice, but lots of miscommunication happens, things go unheard, which makes everything a bit harder when I need to get in touch with them.

The main reason I started coming here is because my cat is a nightmare in the car and the office is less than 5 minutes from my apartment. That being said I really like the staff. Dr. Flory is super personable and nice and are the techs. I've always had very positive experiences and am able to get prompt appointments when needed.

I live in Cleveland Ohio, but we follow Dr Flory wherever he goes. My dogs have had multiple knee surgeries while Dr Flory was in Fort Wayne. He always did a great job caring for our dogs and they bounced back wonderfully each time! He is an amazing veterinarian and this community in Indianapolis is lucky to have him.
