Swedish Massage - the manipulation of soft tissue for therapeutic purposes and may include effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, compression, vibration and friction.

Standley Lake Massage Therapy was first established in 1982. Since then, it has served over 100,000 clients over its 28 year history. SLMT has been recognized as a business leader in the Metro Denver area. The Center Director, Kathryn Stewart, currently serves as the Government Relations Chair for the Colorado chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association and has experience with legislation, statutes and regulation of massage therapy.
Brenda Garg - Brenda has been practicing massage therapy since 2002. She completed an advanced degree (AOS) degree in 2003 from Boulder College with emphasis on Medical and Orthopedic Massage for specific bodywork on injuries or postural dysfunction. She completed the Ortho/Sports Certificate Program in 2009 with a case study of how massage can affect positive changes in people injured in motor vehicle accidents.

I have received therapeutic massages for several months to treat my injuries. Brenda is an excellent massage therapist, as is Caitlyn. Their teammates John, Dolly, Mary, and Sean are professional, friendly, and courteous. The facilities are clean and comfortable. I am grateful to receive their kind, effective care.

I'm a big fan of the massage team and the office staff/owner. I've been utilizing the occupational therapy services, which have been more useful than some of the more 'traditional' methods used by docs. Therapists I have used bring years of experience and their own techniques to occupational/medical massage to actually address the issues. Professional and effective. Kudos to SLMT and thank you.

I have been going to Standley Lake M.T. for a few months due to a back injury. I worked with Brenda and Yutaka and I must say, they are both terrific. I always feel better after my visits. I highly recommend this place. Everybody is very professional and the rooms are very clean. Try them out, you will be pleased.

Standley Lake Massage Therapy is an authentic and exceptional therapeutic massage business. They have been helping me recover from an auto accident, and they have done a tremendous job. Jackie is an especially gifted therapist. I jokingly call her "the back whisperer" because she rapidly and accurately assesses the therapy you need when you come in for a session. She adjusts her technique and approach based on your condition at that moment and your long-term therapy goal. Jackie is the best massage therapist I've ever had work on me.
