I recently traveled to Maui with my husband, and we wanted to take some casual beach photos to remember our trip. I researched several photographers' websites, but many of their family photos seemed a little tacky. When I came across Wendy's portfolio, I was impressed by her more artistic and candid style. She uses film, which is extremely rare these days! She agreed to meet us early in the morning, and she suggested a beautiful, secluded beach nearby. It turned out to be the perfect location because we had the entire beach to ourselves.

My husband & I booked an hour session with Wendy during our last trip to Maui, and we are SO glad that we did!! I have been a long time fan of Wendy's gorgeous work and distinctive style, and couldn't wait to spend some time with her. Wendy is AMAZING. She captured such a special day for my husband and I in a way I don't think any other photographer could do justice for our wedding this spring. I would recommend her hands down with no hesitation. She is so easy to work with and her photos are jaw dropping. I love that she shot the photos on film and that she used her artistry and the natural light at the estate we were married at to capture the essence of our day: laughs, love, and family. I'm so happy that we "found" Wendy and she was available for our family photos while we were in Maui. After looking at her website and her galleries, I knew her style was perfect for us – colorful and casual. But what was even better was Wendy herself! It is very apparent that she loves what she does and loves creating images that will last forever.
