Dr. Gary continued to practice from his established hospital in Del City, Okla., while Dr. Trent moved over to work at Dogwood. After 36 years, Dr. Gary retired from veterinary medicine in 2002 and closed his Del City practice.

First-time visitors to Dogwood Veterinary Hospital should bring the pets' vaccination records, a list of current medications and dosage, and information on any medical procedures or problems. If you do not have this information, please bring the name (and telephone number if possible) of your pet's past veterinarian or clinic, so that our staff may call to obtain your pet's records.
A native Oklahoman and a 1987 graduate of Shawnee High School (Go Wolves!), Dr. Trent Marr has been the owner of Dogwood Veterinary Hospital since he purchased it in 1997. Dr. Marr has been the primary veterinarian at Dogwood since that time. He began his career in his father's veterinary practice, Elms Animal Hospital, in Del City for one year following graduation.

He literally doesn't care for the animals at all!! Worst vet ever!!No empathy!! I show up cause my dog ate something that would kill her he says okay and what do you want me to do I'm like idk do something! help?? He says fill out this form but it will be a while and just walks off like he couldn't care less... like what the heck!!!!

Wow if ur could give a negative 100 I would I called the vet to see what my options were for a 7 week old kitten with a broken leg and couldn’t afford the 500 so I asked if he had any suggestions and his first suggestion was euthanization what happened to vets going into the profession because they loved animals it’s so sad that they focus on money so much they would rather kill a hurt baby then to heal her
