MedTempNow was started by a Nurse who has an extensive background in operations and quality. We very much understand the frustrations many facilities have when scheduling contract labor. We also understand, given the many staff shortages in healthcare, that licensed practitioners are more in a position today than ever before to empower themselves and be their own boss.
Our company was founded by a Nurse and former facility Administrator so we understand the difficulties and inefficiencies scheduling contract labor. We created a free mobile app and web-based software that will allow healthcare facilities to search, review, and request practitioners in real time. This allows facilities to personally select practitioners based on their patient population resulting in better quality of care.
Practitioners will have direct access to many healthcare facilities through our electronic platform in which the practitioner creates a professional profile and inputs their availability in real time. This allows the practitioner to truly be their own boss and work when and where they want to. Very bad with communicating! I applied as a RN in hopes of working PRN shifts. I sent in all my certificates and information as requested. After not hearing anything two weeks later with no return phone calls I get a email reply asking me what I'm looking for. I replied and again didn't get a response so I sent a text message two days later. I was advised they only staff operating room nurses. When I advised they should disclose this on the website, that they wasted my time and I was going to give a negative google review; they weren't apologetic yet advised I should do what I feel I need to do
