Brown-McKee, Inc. was established in 1955 as a Texas based design/build, heavy industrial construction and engineering firm building agricultural related projects including grain storage and material handling systems, cottonseed storage, handling and extraction processing facilities as well as commercial feed mill and feedlot operation facilities.
During the early years BMI also expanded into public works and heavy construction including water systems plant construction, pipelines, pump stations and reverse osmosis systems as well as gas compressor stations and remote blend fertilizer plants.

Operating as a division of Brown-McKee, Inc. since 2002, Precision Drilling utilizes three types of foundation drilling rigs capable of drilling both straight shafts as well as belled piers. The Texoma 330, Texoma 600, and a Spiradrill MHD 90 rig provide the capability of standard drilling from 9 inch to 90 inch diameters in depths up to 90 feet.
