After selling some real estate via a monetized installment sale, M453, I was surprised and disappointed to get a letter from the IRS saying I owe almost 100k in taxes. Apparently my tax person didn't file correctly for this not often used tax deferral option. I did some additional research and connected up with Ami who went over the IRS letters and came up with a plan to correct the problem. I finally received an IRS letter stating that the tax penalty has been corrected and that I owe nothing! Hats off to Ami and her team - many thanks for your great work!

I called to check if I would like to be a potential client of the CPA. I requested a 15 minute complimentary consultation to see if we would be a good fit. I was told that it is $300 for one hour of consultation or $200 for half an hour of initial consultation to see if I would like to appoint her as my CPA. I would stay away.

After losing my long time cpa, Ami stepped in and did everything needed to close down a 30 year business, helping with all filings and closing taxes. A monumental job, she was knowledgeable, available and precise. I was fortunate to have her guide me through a difficult process.

Indicators of deceptive practice:
1) they don't tell you any fee upfront until after meeting them.
I met her from 1:30 pm to 1:55 pm.
She went through my tax returns.
After that, I wanted to chew it over before using her service.
She then surprised me by saying that I charged $300 per hour. I will bill you for $200.
Isn't that deceptive 1) surprise at the end and 2) 1/2 hour is 30 minutes, it should be $150 and not $200.
Before you get suckered in, run away from her service.
Buyer beware.

I am looking for bookeeping services so I contacted them from their online email form. No response for 2 weeks so I emailed them directly using the email listed on their website. No response for another 2 weeks so I called because I know email is not always reliable. The female who answered the phone said oh yes I think I got your email but send it again. So now my third attempt I resent the email and no response for another week or follow-up call. So their services may be fantastic but I'm just reviewing them on their service.
