Such as our tennis court, swimming pool and sauna, laundry facility and workout room. We have a large community room for use by our residents. 1. All pets are subject to approval, require vet records, and a photo.

Cons:
Old Apartments, age old HVAC, Plumbing Issues (can hear almost everyone in the block turning on a shower).
Stayed in Studio for 2 years, Rent + Water + Sewer + Trash + ridiculous electricity + rent hikes + depressing ventilation, not worth it. Once again Mt. Vernon doesn't have a lot to offer.
Pros:
Management is professional.
Service is prompt, Community Maintenance is neat.
Calm Neighborhood, Decent Pool area.
P.S. Don't go to gym unless insured. Rust is a very bad reason to die! :p

I can say this without hesitation that in my many years living in Illinois and all over the state there have only been two places that I ever considered home.
The place in rural Woodlawn where I grew up and Chesterfield Village Apartments.
I spent two different tenures at Chesterfield.
From 2008 to 2013 and again recently from 2017 until March 1 of this year.
Both of my stints staying there were trouble free and enjoyable.
The staff treated everyone like family, which was welcomed.

The studio apartment was advertised online for $507 a month. Filled out the application, they saw I was an MRI Tech making good money and they tried to add $35 extra to my monthly rent. I explained to them what was advertised, and they came up with some excuse that they had to change the carper before I moved in because the carpet was old and badly wore and the extra fee is for new carpet. That has nothing to do with me. By law, no tenant should be held responsible for natural wear and tear, especially a new incoming tenant.

Great office and maintenance staff, nice apartments and quiet area. Only complaint would be with laundry area. While most of the complaints are with other tenants, it seems weird to have 12 washers and 8 dryers, and there always seemed to be one machine out when you needed. Overall, I would live there again though.

I have only been a resident at Chesterfield Village Apartments for a short time but want to say how much I love being in my new home. The staff members are the most attentive I have ever experienced. My apartment was very well maintained when I moved in and has provided everything I need.
I had one outlet that wasn't working. When I called to just tell them to come when convenient, they were there that day. The maintenance man, Dave, was there only a few minutes. He was kind, efficient, and respectful of my time in my home. The other maintenance man, David, is seen working throughout the complex
