In order to aid us in the diagnosis and treatment of complex endodontic cases, our practice utilizes state-of-the-art, small volume cone-beam CT (computed tomography) that provides highly accurate 3D radiographic images.
This allows three-dimensional visualization of teeth, bone, sinuses, and surrounding structures with minimal radiation to the patient, allowing a level of anatomic accuracy and patient care not possible with 2-D technologies (regular x-rays).Our CBCT system provides us with 3-D images of several teeth with approximately the same radiation dose as two normal radiographs.

I had a root canal with Dr. Citron yesterday and felt mild discomfort then (I'm taking Motrin) and very little pain today. He was patient and methodical and took care to save the tooth and do a thorough job.
A few months ago I had a bad root canal on a different tooth with a different doctor. Everything Dr. Citron did yesterday was in vast contrast to my earlier experience this past winter where the pain never ended until I finally had that tooth extracted to be done with it.

Had an outstanding experience. I had to have an emergency root canal and they saw me the same day that my regular dentist referred me.Dr. Zargar and her team were so professional, friendly, and kept me informed throughout the process. I came to Vienna endodontics for a root canal and was impressed with my experience. I was very apprehensive and nervous about the procedure but the staff were kind and explained everything thoroughly. They were very responsive when I needed a few breaks during the root canal and didn't make me feel bad for taking them. Dr. Zargar completed the procedure effectively and the pain afterwards was very manageable.

Dr. Karen Zargar and the assistant and all of the staff here are wonderful and extremely helpful. I had an emergency and needed to get a quick root canal. I called on Wednesday afternoon and they were able to get me in the following Friday, just two days later. They were very nice, explained the fees for cash only, no insurance and then I was able to get a discount plan that I purchased later that afternoon from a third party website with dental plans. I was able to use that plan to get a significant discount on the price of the root canal.

I visited Vienna Endodontics as an emergency while visiting friends in the fairfax area. I was highly recommended to them and not being from the area Im so impressed. I don't review often. I walked in and was treated so kindly by Dr Wesley Citron. He took an X-ray and CBCT scan. (Very state of the art machine!!) anyway, turns out I had a major infected root canal. I was treated professionally, gently and I am very satisfied. I wish we had dental care like this in Florida!!! Thanks to Dr. Wesley Citron for helping me in such short notice.

Over the past year, Dr. Wesley Citron has twice attended to painful infections above my teeth, and both cases were handled in an outstanding manner. The first required a procedure where Dr Citron went through the gum and bone to the root of the tooth, and the second was a regular root canal procedure. Had my first root canal today. I was nervous because I had a dentist that was very painful when I was a kid but my regular dentist recommended him so I trusted that he knew it would be a good fit. The front office staff was great when I set up the appt. Had already worked out the insurance stuff before I got there.... so zero hassle with that! I had a root canal with Dr. Albert Citron, Vienna VA on July 2010. He charged me 2200 for a one hour of work. 2000 to pay right away and 200 on another additional bill 1 month later. The same procedure that I paid only 900 dollar 6 year ago. The average root canal is from 600- 1000 now.
