Below we have listed some frequently asked questions about the remodeling process and Stony Point Construction's methods. How does your company start the design/building process? An appointment is set to discuss your needs and desires. I spend time "Listening"to your ideas. Together we establish which features of your existing home you want to change or improve.
One of the most important things to consider while hiring a remodeler is the relationship you have with the remodeler. The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) recommends that you take the time to get to know some of the key people you will be working with during your project. I am told that I should be prepared to give you a budget for my project.
Larry Yancey, the owner of Stony Point Construction personally came in and helped me design my whole kitchen. He was thorough, understood our design needs, financial constraints and made sure out kitchen would not out build the neighborhood. You added beautiful details and space, while preserving its original character and feel.

I have used Stony Point Construction for a multitude of projects - both large and small - from an attic conversion to a garage addition to a complete kitchen blow-out renovation - and each time have been impressed with the quality and value provided. Larry goes way above and beyond to provide exceptional service, and the beauty and solidity of his construction cannot be ignored. Friends and neighbors have hired Larry based on visits to my home. I would not consider hiring any other contractor!

We hired Stony Point Construction after breaking up with our first contractor. Larry's meticulous attention to detail was reassuring. The contract was specific and change orders were well documented. After drawing up the electrical plan, he asked us to walk the house with the plan to vet it. We made adjustments during that walk through and today, every time I turn on a light - the switch is where it should be. Our project was essentially a gutting of our home, moving the kitchen, removing walls, replacing floors and adding a bath. The house was secured every day, the work in progress was kept clean
