Vida literally means "life" in Spanish. Symbolically, it suggests ever-present change, growth, freshness, vitality, and endurance. As a group of dedicated therapists, our mission is to be a welcoming place for those interested in the renewal of their life. We hope to decrease suffering and isolation and increase holistic well-being by psychologically attending to our minds, hearts, and bodies.
Our clinic includes a diversity of affiliated independent practitioners. Every therapist shares core professional values, even though we come from different training programs and orientations. Our strengths are different. In a manner of speaking, "a single twig breaks, but a bundle of twigs is strong."

I believe therapy is a way to enrich life in general, to enhance the enjoyable, and to understand and move through the painful. From childhood to adulthood, we are meant to take risks in life, to explore, taste, experience, and selectively hold onto events that give meaning to our personal narratives.
I believe therapy is a way to develop a secure connection that can be rare in everyday life. Developing this connection allows one a space to express authentically what may have been hidden or not heard. Within the safety of this space, real change can begin to occur. So often we believe that by applying reason and willpower to an issue we can instigate change, and are left feeling defeated in the end.
My approach to therapy involves creating a sacred space (temenos), where your concerns and difficulties are met with compassion and free from judgment. I provide a safe place to explore both the conscious and unconscious processes. I offer Jungian oriented psychotherapy, which is primarily concerned with the discovery and unfolding of a person's unique expression and purpose in life, whatever that may be.
I believe that to engage in therapy is to embark on the process of mastery as you learn the language for your experiences. The word "psychotherapy" comes from the Greek words "psyche", meaning soul, mind, and spirit, and "therepia, " which roughly translates to mean to serve and/or treat. Psychotherapy is part science and part art.
My approach to therapy is adaptable to the unique needs of each individual. I like providing a safe and peaceful environment where your feelings, needs, and emotions, will be acknowledged, and met with compassionate empathy and without judgment. A lot of my experience has been working with adult clients with complex trauma who have struggled with addiction as a resulting behavior.
