Custom Business Link provides several unique solutions for IBM AS/400, iSeries, and mainframe Intelligent Printer Data Stream (IPDS/AFP) ethernet TCP/IP print server protocol conversion to ASCII printer parallel port data streams. EBox is the only Ethernet to AS/400 or iSeries solution with full IPDS print-status reporting back to the host.
Software includes all of the traditional EBox funtions. Software loads on a Windows 2000 or XP PC using supplied Server and Console programs. Convert4print (C4P) enables you to control all of your printing enterprise wide from one PC. An automatic backup option is built into C4P which enables an alternate duplicate Server and Console to assume control if any issue was to disable the use of the primary server and controller.
Transform and publish all documents so that they deliver your message and are able to impress your customers. Process is easy and quick and it requires no changes to the primary generation program. Only the appearance of the final document printed is changed. Change the layout of spool files and add logos and overlays, without having to modify the primary program.
