Services
Ascendant Engineering Solutions is located in Austin, Texas and has been serving our customers since 2005. Whether your interest is in our products or our services, our outstanding technical professionals deliver the best solutions in the industry. The AES Management Team has over 100 years' of combined experience designing products and leading teams at large and small companies supporting commercial and defense industries.
AES has the talent to support your product design. Our multi-disciplined engineering teams can provide turn-key design services or can augment your existing staff with added bandwidth and capability. AES specializes in the design of electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical systems for rugged environments, but we provide design services for anything from electronics packaging to consumer devices.
Our Weapon Shock Simulator (WSS) offers a more efficient and convenient alternative to the high cost of live fire shock testing for weapon mounted sights and other accessories. The WSS reproduces the live fire shock events for MIL-STD-810 small arms accessory testing in your lab or on your production floor, is capable of simulating 20,000 shock events per day, and captures and records shock metrics for each event.
Our Hexapod is a six degree-of-freedom motion simulator, purpose-built to simulate the operational environment of today's small pointing systems. Vehicle (aircraft, marine, ground) testing line-of-sight point systems is time consuming and expensive. The Hexapod can be programmed to simulate the accelerating motion environment for vehicles ranging from consumer quadcopters to large military UAS to the pitching deck of small marine vessels.
