This was my first visit as a new patient. I found the office and staff to be exceptional in their approach to my dental care. The moment I walked into to the office Renee took my insurance information and started the process of determining my coverage. She asked me pertinent questions and made several calls to my insurance providers. My dental hygienist Sarah did a very thorough job of cleaning my teeth. She explained each procedure and encouraged questions and provided complete answers to all my questions. She was very kind and patient with my request for breaks as she cleaned my teeth. I usually have a positive experience but today began with my having to wait over my scheduled appointment time. That was followed by having a new employee conduct my cleaning, although she was very nice and professional. Sue had just been the one to clean my teeth for all the years I used their services. But the worst thing was I felt badgered and attacked to have X-rays. Sarah asked if she could do the X-ray and I answered no. Then she asked me to sign a refusal waiver which was fine but then the insurance clerk came to the room and tried to get me to have the X-rays followed by Dr Johnson, who

My husband and I moved to Salem from the DC metro area in December 2020. We absolutely love this area, but I was nervous about finding a new dentist because I have seen the same dentist for over 32 years! I asked around and my new friend Kim Jones enthusiasticly recommended Dr. Word. I have to say from the moment I called to schedule thru my appointment today I was wowed! The staff is so so nice, the office is beautiful and comfortable. They explain every step of what they do while making you feel like family; asking about you personally as well as understanding your dental history and needs.

Very professional state of the art dental group! I was impressed with everyone. They are very friendly, welcoming and organized. The check-in process was seamless and there was no wait. The hygienist was one of the best, most professional, thorough hygienist I have ever been to. Dr. Johnson was very good. He took the time to answer my questions and explain the new technology with crowns. The dental equipment is state of the art with new technology. They are awesome!

I had my very first appointment here today and I was super impressed. Not only was the staff super friendly and informative, the place is beautiful and clean inside. My dentist, Dr. Johnson was so super friendly. You can tell his kindness is genuine and he actually cares about your teeth. I’m so happy that he is going to be my dentist. They were able to get me in quickly for my first appointment, and my next appointment just as quick. So happy that I contacted them. Five stars across the board.

Dr. Word And his team do a fantastic job. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and they take me back as soon as I come in every time. Very fair prices. I've had a few cavities filled and had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled here and Dr.Word did a spot on job they even called me the day after the surgery to check up on me and see how I was feeling. Highly recommend!
