Sitting on the side deck overlooking the pond and westward hills was the perfect location to spend most of our time. A wonderful respite. I've never had the opportunity to use Best of Canaan for their rental service, but I have worked with their realtor Amy Barb who has done a great job at helping me find the perfect property and then negotiating all the ups and downs that go with any real estate purchase. Great experience!

Our family go to WV every summer and I have at least over 20 family members go with us and we LOVE staying at the cabins!! We always have a campfire together, have big meals together, play games and go on hikes. At night everyone goes back to their cabins, and we stayed at Wild Turkey, and it is the best cabin ever, It is so clean, cozy and relaxing. For us it feels good to come back to our cabin especially after a long day with the fam!! I RECOMMEND BEST OF CANAAN!!

Beware!! Best of Canaan only posts the positive reviews of their properties on the website so visitors do not get the true picture. I wrote a mixed review after staying at one of their homes and lo and behold it never was posted. I followed up in an email as I thought it might be a clerical error and never heard back---seems like dishonest business dealings to me.

My group of 6 people and one dog stayed at the Turkey Hill cabin one year ago and it was one of the best vacations ever! The place was very nice and clean, and my limited interactions with the staff were pleasant as well. The cabin fit all of us easily, it was very close the ski resorts, and was just such a great time.

I've been renting from BOC every winter for almost a decade. It has been a pleasure to work with them. They have always helped me find a house that fits my needs and have been super responsive of any needs I might have. I have also sent friends to them and they have been very happy as well. I highly recommend them.

After our second experience renting from Best of Canaan, our entire family got a bacterial skin infection from using the hot tub at the cabin we rented because the spa was insufficiently cleaned/chlorinated. The people at Best of Canaan claimed no responsibility and refused partial refund for our trouble. Buyer beware.
