Eau Gallie's professional staff is lead by Dr. David Retamozo, who has been practicing veterinary medicine exclusively in Florida since his graduation from the University of Florida in 2004. A hard working, dedicated staff of nine veterinary technicians and receptionist form the rest of the Eau Gallie family.

Sent all records for both dogs to this practice and on first visit they OVER-VACCINATED both dogs by given them multiple vaccines they already had just two months prior. Ok ... I get it people make mistakes. I FORGAVE them. I schedule my youngest to get neutered...to my dismay I was met with the RUDEST most intense and unprofessional nurse (GEMMA) who is also the PRACTICE MANAGER?!?!?! I simply asked a front desk employee (male) if she is always "INTENSE" and he then informed her that a customer called and "COMPLAINED" which is not at all what occurred but that goes to show you how much her staff

Everyone at the front desk is always very helpful and responsive! The vets are as well, I couldn't recommend this place any higher, it has such a warm and welcoming environment too. I'll be taking my cats here as long as I stay in Melbourne!

Came here on an emergency for my cat. They were very understanding, kind and would see me same day. The let me know there may be a wait for walks in so I came prepared, however I was brought to the room and seen within 10-15 min. They were very kind, loving to my cat and thorough in her exam. Very attentive staff and nice facility. The vet was awesome, explained everything and very loving to my girl. Yes I would recommend.

One morning when I woke up I noticed that my family cat, Chonkie, had thrown up in the kitchen. I went looking for him and he was hiding in a place he normally wouldn’t. So I picked him up and set him down to walk and he immediately laid back down. I did this a few times only to realize he couldn’t walk and his ears were hot. I knew he was quite sick. I called the vet my family normally uses and they weren’t very concerned about this being any emergency and tried telling me I could come in but it would be over an hour wait or more and they were rude. My cat was sick, and they were able to squeeze us in on a Saturday, same day. The place is clean and new. The staff was friendly and the doctor very knowledgeable. Within hours my cat was feeling better from prescription injection and eating before the next day. Prices affordable with blood work and meds to take home. We're making this our regular vet.

I had a very sick Bulldog. He was only 1 year old and we had been working with another local vet for 3 weeks where he was hospitalized and all they did was continue the same medication week after week. They failed to follow the standard of care required and it took us brining him to Eau Gallie (second opinion) and the excellent service by this vet and staff that diagnosed the issue with the correct imagery and all within 24 hours with an approaching Holiday.

We had a big scare today. Our Whippet was choking on something and she was gagging. We rushed her to Eau Gallie Vet Hospital and they met us at the car and took her right in. A few minutes later they called… and said Willow had a piece of a stick lodged in the roof of her mouth. The vet removed it right away and she felt so much better. I was only charged for an office visit which was so kind. I highly recommend Eau Gallie Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for kind and caring individuals who go out of their way to help. Thank you for saving our dog, we are grateful you are here!

I have been going to Eau Gallie vet hospital for many years. Dr R is always thorough and explains every detail. My lab was very sick, I had an appointment at 4pm. Dr R waited with me until 8pm for the radiologist to arrive at the practice. She arrived and took the ultrasound, it was determined that my lab indeed had cancer and she was terminal. It… was approximately 10pm at night. He lifted my lab into my SUV with his bad back and all. We enjoyed Princess for 2 more weeks and she passed peacefully in her sleep. He is the most thoughtful and thorough vet. I am a lifelong advocate of Dr R

I cannot recommend them any more from this point forward! They are incredible. My German Shepherd is very nervous around people, and Samantha was so relaxed with her, which allowed her to calm down and they could evaluate her. They dealt with the issue with her promptly and were very reasonable! I am going to them for all my veterinary needs from this point forward, and suggesting them to everyone.
