Services
Dan Mallchok, founder of the Mallchok Funeral Home became a licensed funeral director in 1935. The Mallchok Family has been serving the Parma / Parma Heights area at this location for over 40 years. Currently Michael Mallchok, Jr. and Susan Mallchok Karla continue the family tradition of caring for the needs of the community at their independent, family-owned and operated funeral facility at 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, Ohio.
At Mallchok Funeral Home, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
Mallchok Funeral Home offers a clean, modern and spacious facility to serve the needs of our families with ample off-street parking. Our first-floor public area is handicap accessible by an indoor ramp offering access to all of our viewing areas, funeral arrangement offices and casket and cremation products showrooms.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.

We have used this funeral home for most funerals I've attended. The people are very nice and work hard to ensure the day goes smoothly.

I called for information and was blown away by how rude whoever answered the phone was there. How disrespectful and non professional...I hope they don't treat their clients like this how horrible and sad. Smh

Had several positive experiences with them until the most recent time my family tried to use them for a funeral, which will be the last.
They're very nice to you until you don't pay for a casket from them - we got a different one from a nearby casket store that was cheaper and looked less gaudy, and that seemed to turn Susan Mallchok Karla's mood quite sour. After sharing that we chose to buy a casket from a company other than Mallchok (which is your legal right as a customer), her tone during the planning process became much less cooperative – not something you want to deal with when planning

If the way they treated me and my family is any indicator of how they treat everyone then you are gonna be ok. They took time with us. Unrushed and empathic offering solutions along the way.

My father died in October 2015. He was sick from cancer. His appearance had changed so much during his illness. When I saw him at his wake, it brought me peace because he looked like my Dad. The Dad I knew before his illness took over his appearance. I even complimented how beautiful he looked. Thank you Malchok.
