Lavinder declined to take my offer for a family property. I left voice and email messages that were completely ignored and when I called the office, I was hung up on. My mother wanted to back out of the contract and she was told she could not. Since both buyer and seller are represented by Lavinder, they declined other offers on owners behalf. I find it unethical that Lavinder didn’t disclose to my mother that additional valid offers were on the table to consider instead of adamantly and suspiciously going with the first offer. Lavinder Real Estate, Inc. represented me and my sisters in selling a property in Giles Co. There was no three day grace period on the contract, this was explained the day we signed the contract. Lavinder Real Estate could not legally discuss the details of property being sold with anyone other than the actual owners. Lavinder Real Estate Inc did not receive any offers, verbal or otherwise from anyone, other than the 1st written, signed contract. The five owners agreed on all aspects of the accepted contract.
