The Levert Land Companies consist of Levert-St. John, LLC, the J. B. Levert Land Company, LLC, and various other smaller companies. We own commercial and industrial buildings across the Gulf South and southeastern US, as well as undeveloped and agricultural lands. We also plan and create residential subdivision developments and commercial building sites, some of which are available for sale or for lease.
The Levert Land Companies in Louisiana are some of the oldest family-owned companies in Louisiana. Founded as agricultural operations (sugarcane farm and processing mill), they still manage and operate over 12,500 acres of land for agricultural purposes. The Levert Land Companies were founded by General Jean Batiste Levert.
The Levert Companies own, manage, and lease over 60 properties containing over 1.2 million square feet of area throughout Southeast Louisiana, Mississippi and in nearby states. Our holdings include light industrial properties, warehouses, retail centers and office properties. With over 100 years of experience managing real estate, we have a unique understanding of the needs of tenants across our region.
With extensive holdings of raw land in South Louisiana (both alone and in partnership), the Levert Land Companies have been actively involved in the development of residential neighborhoods and commercial sites. We hold many undeveloped properties with highway or roadway access in or near the city limits of a number of communities.
