Verb Photography is a boutique newborn, maternity, & family photography studio serving Edmonds, Washington and surrounding areas. From those pregnancy announcements to the baby bump and all the possible moments in between, I want to be there to capture your beauty and glow. From those anticipated moments at the hospital and all the new days ahead I enjoy documenting those moments we want to hold dear.

I have since upgraded a few times but I still pull that first camera out and remember what I started from. I decided I wasn't going to wait until I was ready, or my work was amazing. I decided that it was going to be much like relationships, that when you start off, you don't always have it figured out but as you grow you have a stronger love for each other and where you have come from.
Are you looking to cover your walls or order a few digital files to print for holiday cards? Either way, I offer full service photography and can meet your specific needs. I'm happy to start with designing a session around the colors and decor in your home, or choose a digital bundle package that fits where you are in your life at this moment.
Each couple has a uniqueness, a spirit and a journey they have been on, this builds a love between you that should be shared. We knew from the beginning that Angie would capture our wedding day perfectly! My husband and I aren't too keen on having our photos taken often, however working with Angie we were able to relax and go with the flow.

Angie did a wonderful job capturing our family photos with our 1 year old daughter. She did her research and really took the time to get to know us, our style, and what we were looking for. She asked questions, had me share my Pinterest board and scoped out the perfect locations for our photos session! She did a great job of giving directives and we never felt awkward throughout any of our photos. I cannot say enough about Angie and her work. She was incredibly responsive and offered great advice on things like location and clothing while still honoring my vision. I was in need of a quick turnaround on the pictures which she happily accommodated. They were edited and into my hands almost immediately. And they are simply gorgeous. My little guy was a bit under the weather and was fussy the morning we met up and somehow Angie still managed to produce the most beautiful photos. She was so great with him and snapped shots I will treasure forever. I will definitely be calling on her again!

Really enjoyed our baby's photoshoot. Angie was professional and clearly knowledgeable, not only about photography but how to calm and work with our baby which speaks volumes on her customer service and satisfaction, going out of her way to learn these little things and details. Angie has been our photographer for about 6 years now and I can't put into words what she and her craft mean to me. She has captured many milestones including family, holiday, maternity and newborn sessions and each session gets better. Working with Angie is easy as she is kind, calm and creative. Angie did our family photos and they are my favorite family photos we have ever had taken. She suggested a great location and met us at the prefect time of day for beautiful light. She was professional, friendly and made everyone feel comfortable. She works quickly and efficiently which my kids really appreciated. 8 of the 10 digital images are displayed in our home for all to see and we get compliments on them all the time. Angie did an amazing amazing job with photographing my newborn in October 2016. I highly recommend her. Not only does she do amazing work but you can tell she loves children and babies with the way she’s so gentle with them. I really loved all of her props and beautiful baby clothing that she has available for the sessions. I no longer live in her area but should I ever visit Washington state I will definitely ring her up for more photo sessions.

Angie photographed me for a business headshot a few weeks ago. It turned out great! She sought to understand the way I planned to use the photo and really captured my personality in just the right way. She also made the extra effort to understand the business branding that I already had in place; she coordinated the photo background and helped me choose my outfit to be cohesive with the overall brand image. I can't say enough good things about Angie with Verb Photography. Our family has had two sessions with her and both were fun, creative, and the images she was able to get were so good! Angie has an eye for family photography and even boudoir for that matter. She really just has that sense of how to capture precious moments without them looking (or feeling!) staged and unnatural. I have never been disappointed with the photos from Angie. I have had maternity photos, newborn pics, 3 different family shoots, and boudoir photos taken and every time I am blown away at how well the photos turn out. She is always open to new ideas and always has great ideas to add! She has a way of making you feel at ease and makes the entire experience fun. Very disappointed. The pose was awkward to begin with, I felt uncomfortable during the photo shoot and it showed in the photos. The photographer's response was surprising. The photos were very unflattering and I stated this, but she repeatedly said she thought they look great. She said she does not edit at all because she wants the pictures to look real. I can honesly say her photos accentuated my flaws and greatest insecurities about myself and hid my features that am most proud of. I was sad looking at the pictures and I wish she listened to me.
