Originally from Conway, Arkansas, Dr. Ake is a graduate of Hendrix College and attended dental school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Ake met his wife, Ashley, in middle school and they have been together ever since. When he's not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, being outdoors in the Natural State, hunting, playing disc golf, and woodworking.

Dr. Ake and his staff are kind, competent, timely, and professional. Everyone I've seen at the clinic has taken the time to help me understand my treatment options. I've never felt like my concerns were dismissed. Further, the clinic takes active steps to help their patients feel safe -- they follow recommended COVID safety protocols and use my pronouns -- which is more than I can say for other dentists I've seen locally.
