Services
Wichita Counseling and Coaching Center LLC was established in 2007 to allow experienced, independent mental health providers throughout Wichita Kansas to share offices and administrative services in order to provide high-quality services while maintaining the utmost in privacy. We currently have two offices in Wichita.
These forms will ask for information about yourself and your insurance coverage. Some of our therapists may also include a questionnaire about what issue you are going through. At either office, the therapist will come look for you in the waiting room at the time of your appointment.
We generally have our receptionists covering phones part-time Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, but our receptionists telecommute, so our own receptionists, the ones who have your information, will not be in the office where you are.If for some reason the therapist is delayed past the appointment time, you may call our receptionist to check on the appointment at (316)729-9965.

We are preferred providers with most health insurance companies. Some people are surprised how well covered mental health services are. In addition to commercial insurances, we have therapists who accept Medicare and also KanCare (often referred to as the state of Kansas insurance or Medicaid). Kancare clients can get our assistance without any out of pocket cost.
1Wichita Counseling and Coaching Center is also the home of Child Therapy Specialists LLC. Although some of Wichita Counseling and Coaching Center's private therapists specialize in seeing adults, others have extensive experience working with young children. Psychotherapy with children requires specialized skills because they are not developmentally able to do talk therapy the way adults can do.
Parenting an adolescent can be quite a challenge and we have five therapists available to help families meet these challenges. In working with adolescents, therapists must be familiar with the developmental issues of teenagers and have the patience and sensitivity to gain their trust. Some adolescents are happy to try psychotherapy, but many may feel defensive and do not look forward to the first visit.
