The air conditioning unit in your vehicle operates similarly to a refrigerator. Your vehicle's air conditioning unit is designed to move heat from the inside of your car to outside of it. If I could give them zero stars, I would. They handle U-Haul rentals here as well and was called at the END of their business day to tell us that our reservation would not be honored if we didn't make it in on HIS schedule. I selected no contact pickup......he had a HORRIBLE attitude and said it was our problem if we didn't get there when HE wanted. Do NOT go here. From other reviews, apparently they can't get anything right.....

My friend rented a car form them just this past week, and the car had engine issues, elliots obviously “knew nothing about it” and it kept stopping/dying they made it to Georgia but had to stop. They where headed to Florida for their 1 year wedding anniversary... they couldn’t get their hotel refunded, had to pay for another one in Georgia, had to pay for a way to get back home & Elliott’s won’t even refund them fully for almost killing this young couple. Could you imagine your vehicle completely stopping on the interstate? Cars all around you? They could’ve lost their lives... they

Awful. Do not use them!!
We planned a trip to FL and rented a car from Elliots’s the car broke down in Georgia and we lost all of our money for our trip and had to pay for hotel fees while stuck in Georgia. We also had terrible trouble getting a refund which we still have not had and they have been extremely rude and unprofessional. Would definitely not recommend.

Absolutely love this locally owned business. Great people & great service. I have rented several different vehicles from Elliott Rentals & have never had a problem with any of them. So my work week started off with a BANG! Work truck decided to breakdown. I called Elliott Rentals and Mr. Lane made my week. He had a car ready which was beautifully detailed and the best part was, since I was broke down, came to pick me up at no additional charge. I highly recommend this place for all of your rental needs. The staff were extremely pleasant and polite.

Reserved a 26ft uhaul truck 2 weeks before needing on 6/3, received a call on 6/1 @ 11:15am stating I would need to go to Seymour, 20 miles away, to get my truck. I didn't get vm til 3:30 when I woke up as I work nights but couldn't call them bc they closed at noon, on a Sat wth, at ,69/mile this was not acceptable. I ended up contacting Roseland on Mon and was able to get a truck from them, received great customer service and saved money. I will never utilize Elliott's again.

Traveling and had unexpected car problem! What a blessing to call Elliott's!!! They have their own tow truck and came with a flatbed tow truck and picked us up within minutes! From there we had nothing but top quality service! Honest and quick! Back on the road and couldn't be happier. Friendly and professional!!!!! If you need a great mechanic don't hesitate to call Elliott's!

My daughters car broke down traveling home from southern Indiana. The tow truck driver towed it to Elliott's and said they were good and honest..everything you could want from a mechanic. They diagnosed a bad alternator, fixed it that day at a reasonable cost. I Highly recommend them if your a local or traveling down the interstate, they took care of my daughters car well!
