However, we truly believe that our Team's dedication to Gold Standard care and client experience is second to none. We will educate and partner with you in the decision-making process regarding your companion's health, so you can select the ideal treatment plan for your companion.
Dr. Everette Bannister is proud to be a part of the FTAC family since its inception. After finishing his clinical year at University of Georgia and graduating from Ross University in 2007, Dr. Bannister has dedicated his career to strengthening the human-animal bond by focusing his passion on educating companion owners on preventative care, practicing internal medicine, and performing advanced dental and surgical procedures.
Our compassionate team strives to strengthen the bond between you and your companion by consistently providing unmatched care while upholding the Gold Standard of Veterinary Medicine. Increased "Face Time" with the Doctor - Wellness Exams start with 30 minute appointments to allow for a thorough exam and offer ample time to address any questions or concerns about your companion's health.
At Family Tree Animal Clinic (FTAC), we realize the importance of first impressions to show you we care. Therefore, we welcome you to call the clinic during business hours to discuss any questions and/or concerns you may have. We normally response within 48 hours. Schedule Appointment: There are two ways to schedule an appointment.
If possible, please call ahead of an emergency visit, so we can prepare for your companion's care or direct you to the closest emergency hospital. Please be aware there are additional fees for emergency care. For clients "on the go" who still want Gold Standard Care. Please call to inquire about Hospital Admittance Appointments and/or see below for more information.

Dr Bannister is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this group! Our dog is difficult to deal with and he has been amazingly patient with him. He is also extremely thorough and basically saved his life by discovering bladder stones early on that later turned into an emergency situation. Thank you Dr!

We have enjoyed bringing our dogs to Family Tree since they opened! Dr. Bannister goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable with treatment and to address your every concern! He even helped step by step with all of the paperwork, enabling us to meet the extensive and tedious requirements for transporting the dogs overseas. We were able to skip pet quarantine and breezed through the pet inspection due to his careful planning and attention to detail. Highly recommend!!

We took our new puppy to Family Tree and I was blown away! You know when you walk into a normal vet and you are immediately hit in the face with that terrible vet smell? Not here! I couldn’t believe how CLEAN this place was!!! The staff was so wonderful and we had an overall amazing experience. So happy to have found such an awesome vet!

Dr. Bannister and his entire staff are courteous, friendly, very knowledgeable and willing to take time to offer personal care and answer any questions regarding your pet.

Horrible! Do not go here. The staff is rude and the doctor misdiagnosed my dog and overcharged us by $1000. Absolute worst vet. Looks nice on the outside but don't be deceived the vet is awful and his horrible veterinarian skills had our dog suffer much longer than she should have after his "completely healthy" diagnosis. Wish I could leave zero stars.

Dr. Bannister has been our vet for two years. We had 2 chihuahuas that were getting older with many more needs. Dr. Bannister was always thorough and honest. When it was time for our little ones to go to a better place, ( 3 months apart) he was so understanding and comforting . Dr. Bannister and his staff are the best-even in difficult times. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Recently made the switch from another local vet practice to Family Tree per a friend's recommendation. Dr. Bannister and his staff do not disappoint! They took great care of both of our dogs and took the time to make sure we understood their health plan short and long term. Great experience- glad we made the change!
